Chapter 2

Early in The Morning. The Sun has just risen.

Isolated Building, Within a room.

The rising Sun flashed through the window. While Michael was lying on the floor.He immediately felt a sharp stinging sensation all over his skin. The lights above him glowed brightly at his closed eyes. Almost every part of his body was irritated by something. Even the air.

Rays of light sting his body and he immediately pop his eyes opened"Ahhh.... My eyes" Michael groan in pain and clutched both his eyes, the burning pain soon faded.

"My..Eyes??" Michael had paused for a moment, he had a face full of confusion and surprise, and slowly loosen the grip around his eyes.

When his eyes saw the rays of the sunlight, the strong burn made him squint. His eyes blinked continuously as he slowly adapted to the sunlight and could now see the world crystal clear.

However, what came after Michael made him shocked. Michael placed his hands on his eyes, Michael was confused he didn't know what had happened but he can now see.

'Am alive... And I can see too?'

Michael muttered with disbelieve,he then placed his hands on his chest, but felt his heart reacted in a positive manner it vibrated continuously which showed sign of life in him.

But, wasn't he dead he questioned himself. His full being was completely fine just like a healthy fat baby. It was as if he had just wokeup from a good night rest.

He was overwhelmed, it was like a flash track that was bouncing before his own eyes, because this shouldn't have become possible with a 'flash back' he remembered what happened the last time that he had lost his eyes. So how did he survive, Michael was devastated Tears suddenly start dripping down his eyes to his butts cheeks, it was as if he was a comic or manga character. His emotion was mixed with both regret,sadness and joy.

It was as if everything that had just happened was a dream to him.

Michael gave out a mischievous grin on his face that revealed his brown teeth. Nonetheless he noticed that his eyes could make out the world much more clearer than his former eyes could.

The whole world was tens of thousands of times clearer, the vision of his eyes made everything perfect and unique with a spin of wheel with every glance he took.

Michael could see the verdant of boughs waved gently in the wind slowly, he could even see the insect that was chirping on woods and the beautiful green vein on leafs that seem to glow as the sunlight reflect on it.

'What.... The..hell'

Michael heart skipped and jumped up for joy, he had just being revived from the dead and now he could see much clearer and see the unseen, that normal people could not see.

But the humid stench that emitted from Michael body, told him otherwise, he hasn't taken his bath for like ages nor has he brushed his brown teeth that was emitting a foul odour.

Since the death of his parents he became devastated and while away his time by drinking of alcohol, until he lost his vision to his ex-girlfriend and was remove from being his team squad leader and the mockery they made of him.

As he remembered all the humiliation, suffering and anguish he clenched his fist tightly in anger and grit his teeth's, and with a glance Michael gaze swept pass through the messy and dirty room that was made out of ruins, as if he was looking for something.

With a sudden pause as if the whole world as paused with him, he slowly bent down to look at what seem like a portrait on the floor, that was now full of dust and ruins.

Michael picked it at a slow pace, since he has long realize the familiar faces on the portrait the faces on the portrait was his dead parents picture, with a glance tears began to gather at the corner of his eyes as he stared down at the portrait.

At this moment Michael's feeling were hard to describe, even though he was happy he had being revived he was still sad that his parents were dead and were never coming back, Michael's face wore a sad and a face full of regret.

During when his parents where alive they had sacrificed a lot for him, even before he became a C ranked Awakener and a squad leader they had borrowed a large some of money, for his day to day expense in his university days, because of that they looked more older than their original age with wrinkles and gray hair all over, during that time he was yet to become a squad leader and hardly earn enough incomes. And even with him becoming a squad leader his parents still died.

Everything he had worked for was for his parents, but death took them left sooner than he had expected, Michael gave out a faint smile before his mood slightly changed to a happy one.

It was during his university days that he had met his ex-girlfriend and because he was hardworking and smart she cling him firmly and being the school beauty Michael thought he had hit the jackpot. And before he knew what was going on she had reduce him to nothing but trash.

He had also swore before, that if he ever get a second chance he would take revenge for what they did to him, and this time was perfect for him, even though he would have to start from the beginning it didn't matter "After all when there is life there is hope" he said to himself with eyes full of determination.

Soon his eyes gave a twitch which he had to take note of,

-Roar!-

Sounds of wild beasts sprang up in the air fiercely, the group of 5 wild beasts started to howl. Immediately as Michael locked his eyes on the wild beast, his inner eyes began to spin in wheel like manner at a high pace.

What happened next made Michael awe in amazing, his eyes had scan the area zooming the wild beast in the fastest ways possible making it look large as if it was standing right in front of him and in his conclusion they where wolf packs.

And they seem to be closing in on Michael current location "This is not good", thus this sent shiver down his spine with goose bomb exploding all over his body adrenaline soon follow suite.

Michael had fear sting his heart right now, because his current strength value was no longer at C rank peak rather it was at the bottom of the well G rank lower.

If it where before he would have being able to defeat this wolf pack with mid diff, but if he where to even face one those Wolf's right now with his half bread power like, the wolf would devour him within a blink of an eye.

Michael eyes could scan the area properly and had little time to react since wolf packs were a mile way from the isolated building. As his eyes scanned the area Michael took notice of a cave that his slim body could fit in and immediately ran towards the cave.

As Michael took 5 step towards the entrance of the cave, a cold soft air pierce through his thick skin.

As he explore deep inside the cave, the space inside the cave widen. Even though the cave was a bit dark Michaels eyes could make out his location and his surrounding clearly. This gave Michael a sense of a unique feeling that sprang up I'm his heart.

As he was exploring the cave, Michael's eyes took notice of a rock but this particular rock gave out a weird aura. With a closer look the rock seem to be red, under the red rock appeared a strange red pond.

As Michael looked at the strange red pond and it liquid in it. It gave out a unique aura and beside the red rock some plants could be seen, which looked eatable.

"Grrrrrl" Michael stomach roared and with this Michael got the sign and cliche his lip immediately pounce on flower like plant before him and within a blink Michael had eaten to his fill and decided to lie his back against the red rock.

As he laid back the red rock Micheal felt as if his organs was being clutched by something but he couldn't tell what it was.

Soon he began to feel intense pain, he couldn't tell was happening to him all he could feel was pain, his stomach was pounding fiercely as his organs was being clutched.

"Ahhhhhhhn....." Michael screamed at the top of his voice and then lost consciousness.
