4 The Mysterious Accident

I sat down on my seat, reached into my bag to take my book cause right now I just need to study am someone who like being ahead of the class and teachers

Suddenly I felt something towards my face and I raised my head to see it

'Hi am Becky' she says with her hand extended towards me

'mm' I half-heartedly answer then took a quick look at her one could tell at first sight that she's quite a busy body or you could say out going type and confidence the aura that emitted was full of confidence

"I just wanted to officially introduce myself to you before anything else" she adds even before I could ask her what she wanted

"okay" I said as I shook her hand trying not sound cold towards her cause that's what I do everytime tried this but for some strange I couldn't do it to her maybe I didn't want to drag her confidence down

"umm what subjects are we learning today" I asked her as she turned to leave

"maths first then foreign languages class, Phys.Ed, music that's not compulsory though then lastly english" she responded

"okay can you lend me your maths book yunno am a week late I need to cover up for those I missed " I pleaded with her

"sure" she said and then reached out to her bag that's saw that her seat was right in front of mine

"Thank you " I said to her as she passed her maths book to me , few minutes flipping through her book a teacher walked inside the class, a blonde haired girl signals the students to greet the teacher but she just waved her hand telling us not to bother

And walked to the board and placed her book on the stand then turned to the class then asked a few questions from their last class , she asked a few questions then turned to the white board and wrote down the topic of the day which is factorization

She gave us few illustrations on the topic for like 30 minutes before writing a question on the board turned to the class , then scanned the class looking for someone to solve the question on the board she scanned the class for like two minutes then her eyes landed on me

"I didn't notice we had a new student class miss could you help us with the solution to the problem written on the board' she said as she motioned for me to get up and come to the board , I hesitated for a few minutes before I finally got up

Then walked to the board took the matter that she handed me and started to solve the equation on the board it didn't take me up to three minutes to get it some and handed her back the marker and stood waiting to be told to go back to my seat

'mm amazing truly amazing I wasn't expecting that, what's your name ?'she asked

'am Evelyn boswell ma'I replied

"ohh it's great to have you in my class, you seem quite good with maths, you just amazed with your speed to solve an equation quickly 'she said

"well you can go back to your seat and class you guys are up for some competition "she said as she smiled and I walked back

'that'll be all for today bye class"she says as leaves the class

Then we headed for the activities of the day as Becky told me it would well at phys.ed I just sat there looking at the activities cause it seemed am more anything that involves taekwondo or archery and there was none here so it wasn't fun for me it took almost an hour and few minutes for the class to end

And it was the last class for the day cause others where put before them so we could all go home and rest after some exercise.

As we dismissed I headed out with my ears plugged I was listening to some music then saw people rushing towards a certain like something just happened and then an ambulance drove into the school, I plugged my ear phones, I walked to the direction I saw people rush to including the people who came out of the ambulance, as I got there I stopped I couldn't get a look cause the crowd was much

'isn't that Becky from our class " I heard some one say I turned towards the direction and saw the crowd open up a space for the rescue team then I saw the face of the person who happened to be lying on the stretcher carried by them

'I think she got into an accident' a voice said

"I wonder what would cause this kind of accident "another one also added

I suddenly felt someone or something was staring at me , I looked around and couldn't find anything suspicious then I slowly looked up to the top a building in the school and saw the same strange looking that I saw before gazing at me , he stared for some seconds before returning his gaze and walked towards the exit of the rooftop

"is this really a coincidence or am I cursed just like my brothers said " I said in my mind as the ambulance drove away from the school

"I'll need to get to the root of this"I said with determination in my mind and then walked out of the crowd looking determined to find the person doing this or if it's truly a curse or someone messing with people you get in contact with me
