Yu xiao yan left immediately the last scene was shot for the day, she still had a lot of things she had to do back at home.

She had bought a house in the outskirt of town not too long ago and today was the day she was moving in. Although she had payed the moving company to help her move all the furnitures and housing equipment she bought, she still had to put them in place by herself.

Thankfully she had also gotten herself a BMW car or else it would be nearly impossible to find a cab that would be willing to drive to the outskirt by that time of the day.

Even with her superb to driving skill it still took her over an hour to get to Peach wood due to the distance and traffic on the road.

The apartment was called Peach wood Villa because it had a lot of Peach trees around making it have a very nice view during sunset, the place could be described as peaceful and beautiful.

The Rose garden gave a warm and nice smell coupled with the sweet smell of the sun on the trees and the beaming rays behind the trees.

The only sound that could be heard were sounds of birds chirping and the faint sound of cars from far away, this was one of the reasons she had bought the house even though it cost a fortune.

The view and tranquility around the house was worth paying a few million Yuan for plus she loved how the house was secluded from people and other houses, turning it into a fortified fortress would be no problem, she could fully construct a security system without having to think about disturbing or affecting people.

It took quite a time for her to put everything in place and settle down, it had already turned dark when she was done arranging and cleaning.

She was still contemplating on what to eat when she heard a knock on the door, she was surprised to hear someone knocking cause she didn't expect to see anyone plus she just moved into the house today, she was even yet to settle down so no one should know her address at least not yet, she hesitated for a while before going to open the door

"you!" she exclaimed when she saw who it was, never in her widest dream would she have imagined the first person to come knocking at the door would be this man, besides although his figure popped up in her mind once in a while she still had almost forgotten him since they never kept in touch with eachother.

"what are you doing here?" she blurted out the question that was bugging her mind.

"can we come in first?" He asked back instead. If he hadn't emphasized on the 'we', Yu xiao yan would not have noticed the little bun standing so quietly besides the man.

"huh... okay come in" she had only changed her mind because of the little kid, if not she would have rejected his request.

Ye Haoran have pulled lingling and walked in after Yu xiao yan.

"what should I offer you?" she asked out of courtesy not that she was happy to have him in her house.

"I'm okay" Ye Haoran answered.

"okay what about you pumpkin?" she turned to the kid and asked, she was much more gentle when she asked the girl because she felt she shouldn't transfer her animosity for the father to his child plus she kind of liked the kid a lot.

"I'm thirsty" the little girl answered.

"okay I'll get a glass of water for you" Yu xiao yan replied then turned to get the water from the kitchen but got stopped by the girl.

"wait!"

"I'm hungry too" she said before Yu xiao yan could ask why she had stopped her.

"Dad didn't let me have dinner" lingling complained not minding that she had directly sold her daddy out. The daddy that was just reported was

Yu xiao yan secretly glared at the man 'starving a little kid, hmph! how cruel of him!'

"okay make yourself comfortable while I fix up something for us to eat" She excused herself and left for the kitchen. Thankfully she had a habit of buying food stuffs in excess and head bought more than what she needed to cook hotpot for just one person, so it was more than for the three of them. Even though Ye Haoran hadn't said he would eat, she and the little kid could not eat without inviting him now could they?

Few minutes later she finished cooking and set the food on the dining table.

She came out to the sitting room and saw the father and daughter duo looking at themselves intensely. They seemed to be engrossed in their eyes discussion that they didn't even notice her standing there.

She watched how they conversed smoothly and was wondering how each of them knew what the other was saying with their eyes. She cleared her throat to gain their attention "um the table is set"

They nodded and followed her to the dining.

The three of them began eating and the whole dining was in an awkward kind of silence, the only person that obviously appeared to be enjoying the meal was lingling as she ate with a carefree smile and glistening eyes. While Yu xiao yan and Ye Haoran were overly conscious of each other and so they ate very little.

"Thanks aunty, the food was delicious" The girl greeted as she was done eating.

"I'm happy to know you loved it" Yu xiao yan replied genuinely, she stood up then started clearing the dishes, just as she was about to leave the dining room she was stopped.

"wait!" She halted then turned to look at him with a questioning gaze.

"you could clear this later, I need to discuss something with you" he said airily. He didn't sound like he was asking for her opinion do she could only drop back the plates then sit down, although she seemed calm, she was very anxious about the 'discussion!'
