Livia's POV:

'Sitting at the cafe while waiting for him' I recalled the information that I read in his profile.

Arthur Riverblood, F rank student. He has no family and no previous records. He recently just left a nearby orphanage.

As I was pondering, the same student was arguing with the cafe worker.

" He has no manners…. I'm probably over exaggerating"

He probably missheard that I am the leader, but why would he invite me out?

" Hi miss Livia, you are probably wondering how I knew of your business"

"…."

He definitely knows..., but how? Did anyone tell him? I kept my composure and showed him that I also know of his background.

"Yes, F ranker Arthur Riverblood"

He should have been surprised. After all, who would bother looking for his rank? But contrary to my thoughts, he ignored what I said as if he expected my reply.

"….."

Now I understand who I am dealing with. He must be a secret agent of either one of the elite families or some other organization. I waited for him to continue what he had to say.

"Don't worry, I just have a merchandise that I would like to sell"

Don't worry? But he brought up a secret between me and my sister. Is he crazy?

Threatening me with my secret and act like it was nothing? Interesting.....

I decided to provoke him and asked about his merchandise.

" Hoo? What could a commoner with no backing offer to us?"

Again, his reaction never changed. he is just an F rank. It is impossible to fool the academy's evaluation exam. However, the next words that I heard changed my thoughts from him to another topic that I lost hope to solve.

"Project ' Galactic Exploration '. Have you heard of it?"

"?!"

A highly classified information that I found was Locked inside a legendary rank seal. To open it up, I had to buy an item with a similar grade. After opening the seal, I found a bunch of expensive mana crystals with many high grade artifacts. It was a bliss to open that seal, but the weirdest part was that document. The document had many encryptions locking it, and it was more difficult to decrypt than the seal itself.

The contents were talking about some spaceship and an alien dwarf with some pictures attached, and also it was stamped with same stamp as the Military Union. When I showed the stamp to the best historian I could find. She kept asking me about the details and never doubted the stamp.

I kept looking for details with my sister, but there was one thing caught my eyes.

The elite families ancestors.

Most of the elite families ancestors were together in a secret project, and the date of the document was matched with the time of that project. People thought that it was for their responsibility of protecting humanity. However, I knew it was a mere cover. The elite families are opportunistic scums that only care about their families. I kept looking into that for years now, but after all this time I started to lose hope in finding more about it.

' Project ' once I heard that word I finally got excited. Life was truly bothersome. The adults were all hypocrites, I and my sister went through a lot and once we gained fortunes. All of these adults suddenly became caring. However, a spaceship… a possibility where I can meet different races and see their nature is something worth living for.

' Finally hearing what I have been searching for' I urged him to continue.

" What do you mean?"

He suddenly stared at where my chest was… wait is he serious? Why in the hell would he even think of that during this conversation??? Is he a pervert? Can't he at least control himself??

As I was thinking of how should I deal with him he said

" The spaceship, I know Its location"

"….."

Location….. it wasn't an explanation nor an idea. It was the damn location...

I couldn't believe what he said. Is he kidding me? I checked my lie detecting artifact to confirm my thoughts..But….

….. It is not a lie? Is the amulet fine?

Cutting my line of thoughts was the same weird student.

"The amulet is working fine, I didn't lie to you"

As soon as I heard that my sense and caution returned.

I let my guard down…...

The person that I was dealing with knew many of my secrets. He even knew of my artifacts, so I need to forget the spaceship for now.

He kept spelling my secrets like he was threatening me. Even though he was just an F rank, he dared to stare at me and treat me like some child.

I got annoyed and protective when I remembered that my sister might also have been stalked, so I asked in a demanding voice while giving a sign to Tomas, my personal bodyguard.

" Who are you? Which organization do you come from?"

Once again…..

I was shocked to see his slightly annoyed expression.

…..Why? He should have been be scared… even Tomas nodded in confirmation that he can easily deal with him…

As soon as Tomas unleashed his B rank pressure even though the pressure wasn't directed at me, I still felt how powerful it was, However….

"…"

He was unbothered as a matter of fact, he seemed relaxed, but then a frown appeared on his face.

He is definitely bluffing, but why do I feel a sense of danger coming from him?

His next words were even weirder. Again he said with confidence in his eyes.

" Stop this stupid threatening. I can kill both of you If I want to. Check your amulet if you don't believe me"

Kill? Me a peak D ranker and my B ranker bodyguard?….What…? He is the one threatening us?….. no…way?

Still…. the amulet never changed…..

Now I really think it has been either broken or he had something that could hinder its function.

'Feeling slightly reassured, I looked at the student confidently. He was supposed to apologize, but rather he kept pushing his bluffs?

Saying in a confident and cold voice " would you like to try me?"

"..."

As a merchant I developed and honed a very important aspect which is caution.

My senses never betrayed me. as a spiritual mage, I have a higher sensitivity than others…. While I was thinking such thoughts, Tomas unfortunately made a stupid decision.

My trusted bodyguard, used one of his skills to bind the student which was a safe move….but….

* Vwamm *

All of a sudden a weird space like void with an eerie energy appeared out of no where. The space ate the spell like it was nothing….

Goosebumps started to raise as I saw this bizarre phenomenon. As a spirit mage, I could feel the nature of this 'magic' , and that magic definitely was not a human made one for sure… and it seemed boundless…

A slight annoyance appeared at the face of the student and his following words sent shivers down my spine

With the same cold eyes but with a hint of discomfort he said. " You attacked shall I retaliate now?"

Immediately after, Tomas returned to my side. Looking at his expression, he seemed bewildered and anxiousness as well.

However....

Fortunately for us the student seemed to calm down and said as he left like nothing happened to begin with.

" the deal is still up, I will forget what you have done today. If you want the spaceship, bring me something of similar value"

"…." Speechless, I just watched him as he left.

" Arthur Riverblood".....

….

"Tomas, contact 'lexun' and also reach to 'Ghost' pay any amount for his background"

Tomas replied in an apologetic tone while bowing " Sorry for moving without permission young miss, Consider it done"
