chapter 6- cube

hajin's POV*

*sigh*

i still can't believe it, i really am in the novel, 'The Returned Hero'. what am i supposed to do now...just as i was thinking what to do next something hit me.

"oww!!!!"- what the hell man. as if my day couldn't get any worse.

"I'M REALLY SORRY!!!"- said a girl's voice behind me.

"... it's fine"- i don't care anyway, i'm sure she didn't mean anything by that.

"again ,i'm really sorry."

i told you- "it's fine."

just as i said that, she was leaving ....Fuck...without thinking, I ran to that girl and held the edge of her jacket trying to call her.

"hey!!! what are you doing???"

"umm...." -What should i say, i called her without thinking.

" stop hesitating and start talking"- said that girl.

"I-I need a favor!!!!"- i must look like a wimp to her but,

"are you serious!!.....fine what favor?"

"phone..."-*mumble mumble* urghh this is going to be so embarrassing.

"what?"

"the phone..... it's broken"- I said, pointing at the broken phone I was holding in my hand.

"So?"- she didn't seem to understand it at first but then, she made that sorry and surprised face and said-

" i'm really sorry!!!!!, i swear that i didn't meant it. i was really angry and i didn't pay any attention this is why this happened!!!!"

"it's fine"- she must have had her reasons but i don't care about that, what i care about is my phone.

"it's just that, i have all of my important memo's in it"- i was feeling embarrassed, i mean which idiot doesn't even know his own house address. of course i didn't specifically say 'house address'.

"i'm really sorry. but i think i can help, Mr....? what's your name?"- she finally asked.

"Kim Ha-" - i was about to say kim hajin but i stopped myself and said- "Kim Chungdong".

"yes... YES?!?!?!?"- she seemed surprised. Did she know kim Chungdong.

"do you.....know me?"- i asked

"Ah, please forgive me. i mistook you for someone else."- Phew, i was worried about what i should say if she said that she knew me.

"it's alright. you can call me chundong, and how exactly are you planning to help me?"- i asked

"Don't worry about that" - she said as she took out a phone from her pocket, And removed the sim card inside it.

"give me you sim card i'll put it and give it you"- she asked

"yes!!! here"- i said as i give the sim card i held in my hand."but are you sure, what about you?"- i questioned her.

"don't worry i have another phone. this is just a spare" - she said as she was switching the sim.she seems to be thinking of something when she was exchanging the card.just then-

"here done!!" - she said as she hand's over the phone.

"thank you so much for your help!!!"- I really am thankful, even though she's the one who caused it.

".... it was my mistake anyway, take care"- did she.... read my mind

"yes, but still, accept my thanks. bye!!"- it was courteous to say that. after saying this i left her and started walking toward the direction i came from. i was also checking the phone to see if any important data was there when i realized.

"i forgot to ask her name"

well, doesn't matter i don't think i'm gonna meet her anyway. But seriously her kick was really strong. it was just a soda can but it hurt so much. did i make a character like her?.....who cares, i'm just gonna go home for now.

Arin's POV*

*clank*, the sound of a door locking.

"does he know?" -i ran to the long mirror in my room and immediately checked myself. after a lot of twists, turns and twirls, i am concluding that he doesn't know, after all i was a girl.

A pretty girl with black eyes and pitch black hair, a little bit more than shoulder length. yes, it was black eyes. don't worry, my original eye colour is red but, whenever i use my female form i'm always sure to change my eye colour. You see, it attracts to much attention. along with a tight black gym pants and loose grey sweater. 

No matter how you see it, my appearance is'very much' different. Now i'm a girl, but in cube i'm a guy. As a girl i have black eyes but as a guy i have red eyes. As a girl my hair was down, which made my hair look kinda like a wolf cut, but as a guy i tied my hair half up and half down, kinda like a bun. 

My body shape was also a little different since i used a magic device, instead of old fashioned chest bands.

Just like that i spent the whole night thinking about what may go wrong. and spent the rest of my 10 days either practicing or watching some novels along with doing the basic stuff.

Don't get me wrong, i like it when everyday is an average day. That way i won't have to worry about some plush toy kidnapping me and throwing me into a novel.

This is exactly what hajin told us, the readers about 'cube'.....

Just kidding, why in the name of novels would i ever pay attention to any detail hajin would give us. especially when it's really unnecessary. unless someone wants to write a fanfic about it. 

Either way i just saw this in the cube's information brochure, and felt like talking about it since i wanted to pass time.

[Novice – Veritas]

I was in front of this class. The very same class where every important character of novel's extra studies. well, maybe not every character. for those who don't know, Novice referred to first year cadets, while Veritas was the name of the class. Simply put, it was year 1 class 1.

I felt goosebumps all over my back. 

'ahh~~, i'm gonna meet the main characters~~~!!.' - was what i was thinking. I mean, any fan of this novel would. No matter how much you want to avoid any characters, you just feel excited to meet them!!!.

and without any further ado, i walked in.....
