chapter 5 - meeting hajin

his face became pale as he questioned shin

" w-what are you saying shin !??!, why are you doing this, this is my fault - "

"hey" - arin tried to speak but he didn't seem to hear it since he was blabbering something.

"- i shouldn't have forced you to do somethin-"

"hey listen" again the same happened

"- i know this is something you told bu-"

"HEY LISTEN TO ME YOU DEAF PERSON!!!!!" - Arin shouted. he looked at arin with a surprised look. Anyone would be surprised if someone they know shouted at them.

"w-wh-what ....."

"You didn't even listen to the complete sentence. I was going to say 'forget that you ever knew me... at least for 3 years'. but you interrupted me and had to make it awkward. "

Of course this wasn't true, she made it up just now to calm him down.

"3 years..... Ah! is it till your graduation from cube"

with a guilty look he turned around , he looked quite sorry but arin didn't care for that.

Seo Jun was quiet but , Arin got the answer she wanted . She was leaving ,feeling betrayed.but Seo Jun didn't try to stop her . He knew that he shouldn't have done that, he knew how much shin hated anyone knowing about her too much, she was secretive. However at the last minutes she turned around.

"My new name in cube is Arin crestaine .If anyone questions anything about Arin tell them that it's not possible . If it's someone you can't refuse then, just tell them what I say exactly -

'Arin crestaine is a cube cadet who has many secrets. He's was an orphan but he does have a guardian now, though it's unsure about who that guardian is, it's sure that he's someone very powerful and I'm afraid we can't get anymore information due to his interference. '

And If anyone asks for shin then, tell them about shin's time in 'Midnight' and that she's on a break, atleast till 3 to 5 years. I hope that atleast this much is possible, if it's not than forget it"

"N-No! , It's certainly possible but ...arin is a 'he' ?...."

"..... Yes, also can you remove any data you collected on 'arin'. It will be a problem if some hacks your phone." she was very embarrassed about anyone knowing that , so she quickly changed the topic.

"A-Alright !!! , I can do that!!"

It seems that Seo Jun was trying to redeem himself, but Arin walked away unfazed, heartless actually. If anyone saw how she behaving , they would surely think that Arin had harshly rejected a young boy who confessed his love to her.

Arin 's POV*

*Sigh*

I didn't know that i'd feel betrayed by such a small thing... i expected him to do something like this ..... so why ..... why am i sad... I am not sad i am just ANGRY!!!!, angry at Seo Jun for secretly spying on me!!!!!

*kick, FL kicking a random soda can*

"oww!!!"- oh shit i'm done.

"I'M REALLY SORRY!!!"- lets just hope he's not a asshole. I didn't even wear my magic earrings, you know the one that change my appearance.

"... it's fine"- huh, he's really nice.

"again ,i'm really sorry."

"it's fine."

he's quite nice but, i don't want to deal with anyone now. just as i was leaving, he held the edge of the black jacket i was wearing. now he's really done it!!!

"hey!!! what are you doing???"

"umm...."

" stop hesitating and start talking"

"I-I need a favor!!!!"

"are you serious!!.... fine what favor?"-... what, he looked really miserable. besides if he tried anything i could just punch him.

"phone..."- mumble mumble,

"what?"

"the phone..... it's broken"- he said, pointing at a broken phone he was holding in his hand.

"So?" just then i realized, the soda can that i kicked with so much force, ya that can. It hit this guy's phone. I immediately replied

" i'm really sorry!!!!!, i swear that i didn't meant it. i was really angry and i didn't pay any attention this is why this happened!!!!" -it might seem like like excuses to him but, every word of that was the truth.

"it's fine..... it's just that, i have all of my important memo's in it....."- said that guy feeling embarrassed, why though?-

"i'm really sorry. but i think i can help, Mr....? what's your name?"

"Kim Ha-.....no Kim Chungdong "

"yes... YES?!?!?!?"- i didn't mean to sound 'that' surprised but, in these 10 years or even in my previous life I've never met anyone i felt like was a MC. I didn't want or need to either, i was even planning to just watch everything from the sidelines, especially since i didn't completely finish reading the novel.

By the way am i dressed right, i can't let him find out about me. sure i have a magic tool that can even fool hajin's eyes but, still.

"do you.....know me?"- he said.

"Ah, please forgive me. i mistook you for someone else."- i could go lie to him saying that i was his friend but no, i don't wanna. i was planning to just quietly help him and just live. And i will stick to that plan.

"it's alright. you can call me chundong, and how exactly are you planning to help me?" he asked

"the phone is just broken right? so you can just take out the sim and install it in another phone."

"ah yes, i forgot you can do that but, i don't have another phone. And i don't exactly know my house address. don't get me wrong i just changed places " - said hajin trying to justify himself. well i wouldn't blame him. He got thrown into an unknown world and an unknown body just today.

"Don't worry about that" - i said as i took out a spare phone from my pocket, And removed the sim inside it.

"give me you sim card i'll put it and give it you"

"yes!!! here... but are you sure, what about you?"

"don't worry i have another phone. this is just a spare" - i said as i was switching the sim. i really had 3-4 cell phones. it was necessary for the work i was doing. even now i carry 2 phones. one for my daily use, the other for....other stuff....

"here done!!" - i said as i hand over the phone.

"thank you so much for your help!!!"

".... it was my mistake anyway, take care"

"yes, but still, accept my thanks. bye!!"- said hajin as he went off. i waved him a good bye first. then ran straight to my house.

What was i thinking, even running into hajin before the main plot even starts. how tiresome i'm gonna have to deal with this everyday.
