Chapter 16 - Bumping into chae nayun II

[Team 1, first place]

Boring, i thought that this was going to be fun. I hate being paired up with the OG male lead. He's too strong, but i wonder why he was a little bit dull today?.....Did something happened different in the museum event!!!!.

should i ask him?. but he seems to be resting.

He was sleeping on the ground. I tried approaching him but i suddenly backed out when the instructor read team 5's time out loud.

"Team 5. 48 minutes 10 seconds. Third place."

arghhh, stupid hajin couldn't you have come 10 minutes later. as i was wondering about how to talk to kim suho, teammates of hajin started cheering for hajin.

"Whoo. It's all thanks to you. You really have great eyes~"

"You do, you do!"

I was looking at hajin thinking about what he would do.

he sneakily looked around a bit before sitting on the ground with green haired girl and the guy with a big weapon.

ugh, i don't know their names what should i call them.

Just 5 minutes later

"It's Nayun."

Seeing Chae Nayun from the darkness, Yoo Yeonha approached her pretending to be happy.

Chae Nayun was covered in dust. It seemed she fell into a trap. Walking towards hajin, she glared at him.

did this happen in the novel?. ARGHHH i would have read the novel more clearly if i knew this was going to happen.

"...Nayun?"

Yeonha called chae nayun, but she completely Ignored and marched towards hajin and asked.

"What was your time?"

"...48 minutes."

"Looks like even you have something you're good for."

as i was quietly listening to them arguing someone came behind me and asked.

"geez do you like drama that much?"- paine said as she looked at them folding both of her arms.

its been a while actually, since i even saw paine. we are in the same class, how did we not run into each other even once?

"I sure do~~"

"you're embarrassing, don't talk to me!."

"lovely!"

i don't know how but, paine and i became friends. Not the best of Friends but, just friends.

"on second thoughts, you are much more better than lang."

"lang? come to think of it, where is he? isn't he always next to you?."

"I escaped from him. It was really hard, so don't you even think of ditching me-"

"YOU!!"-just as paine was talking to me, a loud voice interrupted us.

"y-you, what are you doing here!!!!!"- the very same voice continued as it started getting closer.

"Time to run, i totally understand you now paine. forgive me for ditching you. bye~~~"

Before paine could even say anything i hurried out from there. I acted like it was no problem but, it's a huge problem!!!.

I just bumped into her for a second so i thought she would've forgotten about me. To be honest it was partially my mistake. i should have made up some excuse and skipped school. now i'm going to suffer for it.

"YOU'RE NOT ESCAPING FROM ME YOU WEIRD STALKER!!!!"

'HAH, what makes her think that i'm a stalker????. i would never stalk a person as rude as her.' -Was the thought running in my mind when i was running away from chae nayun.

"huff, huff...haaaaah"

Despite what she said about not escaping from her, i was able to escape from her successfully. don't ask me where i escaped. chae nayun is still not in her most tip-top form.

she should be on her very best when she's training to take revenge on hajin. I think.

"I'm exhausted. I want to sleep on my bed with some chips and watch some anime or something."

*ringgg*- an alarm came from my smartwatch.

[First academic club lecture at 6:45]

Oh yeah, this thing also existed. why did the alarm ring now, it's not even close to 6:45. Probably that stupid C trying to remind me not to skip it.(correct)

"HEYYYYY"

I flinched when i heard someone shouting, i thought it was chae nayun. Thankfully it wasn't. but it was something else who could possibly be as bad as her. 

"Bro~~~, did you see paine?~~, I've been looking for her for a looong time."

"...."

I didn't say anything. I was wondering whether if i should sell out my new friendship for some peace.

"No?, i think i saw her but i forgot where i saw her."

"Come on man, help me out. you can't just abandon me."

just as how i became friends with paine, lang was no exception. when i got hurt both paine and lang along with kim suho came to check on me. ever since then we've become friends.

"trust me lang I have no time. I am myself running away from someone. Look, If anyone asks you about me, just tell them that you don't know. not that anyone would ever ask you."

"Fine~~~"

Just as i was about to leave he put his hand on my shoulder and said something surprising.

"WAIT, Just a minute ago someone asked if I know where you were ."

"WHO!?!?"

It can't be chae nayun. she was too far behind me.

"I dunno, some random dude."

"some random dude? explain more properly. It's related to my survival!!!."

"uhhhh I dunno how to explain but.....NAME!!!"

As lang was about to say something he stopped mid way and started thinking something. after a while he shouted NAME. confused of what he said i asked him.

"what?"

"I KNOW HIS NAME!!!"

"WHAT!!!, what is his name???"

"Park eun-woo!! that's his name!!."

"ehhh, I'm leaving!!. don't you tell anyone about me."

"Hey!!!, I helped you, you help me!!!"

"she's probably near her dorms."- I said being disappointed. it's not his fault that i was expecting someone else. Ah well.

"thanks!!"

Before i even reply to him, he disappeared.

Let's rest a bit before leaving for the academics club.

"huh, shut up..... HUHH"

[First academic club lecture ,7:15]

"I'M LATEEEE. stupid, useless alarm. If you can't wake me up on time, why even exist!!!"- i cursed the alarm before i dashed to the club.

"-you can see how critical this information....."

the crazy president was explaining something as I carefully sneaked in tip-toeing. I saw that my preferable seat was taken so, I sat at some random seat at the very back.

Who knew that was also a big problem.
