Extra And MC

One Hero Is Not Enough To Save The World. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amael, the hero, singlehandedly wiped out more than half of the entire demon race all on his own and even won against the demon king. This should have put him at ease but unfortunately for the human race, the demon king and his race were fated to come back to life again after thousands of years, just like it's always been. "You may have won this time Amael, but the next time, there'll be no one as powerful enough as you to save this world" the demon king cackled with a malicious laughter as he faded away. "This is only a temporary peace..." "Very well then... If this is what I must do to completely eradicate them, then I will" Amael then made a decision. A decision he had hoped would ensure the safety of the future for generations to come. _________________________________________________________________ "We were supposed to be dead, but when we both woke up, we found ourselves in this new world... a world that was all too familiar to both of us" _________________________________________________________________ Author Note: The first few chapters (Around 20 chaps) will be written in 1st person POV but after the introduction of more characters, I will seamlessly switch to the third person POV. Also, as you might've noticed, there will be two male leads. I really hope you enjoy reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Chapter 78 - Pushing Back

"Darn it you foxy vixen!"

-Fwoosh!

Following the release of those words from his mouth, Aiden upon landing on another tree branch jumped to the next in an instant, narrowly evading an arrow that was shot by one of his pursuers.

-Swish!

Upon narrowly evading the arrow, Aiden promptly dashed back out of the forest and onto the expansive grassy fields again, still with Caroline in his arms who was currently giggling mischievously after the stunt she pulled.

Aiden without minding her current antics, watched as up to ten male cadets dashed after him, all of them surrounding him in an instant and ready to use their spells against him.

"Caroline, I hope you aren't afraid of heights?" Aiden suddenly said to the lady in his arms.

Without even waiting for her to respond or to understand the reasoning behind his words, Aiden instantly coated her entire body with mana and threw her up into the air, much to her bewilderment.
