SSS Aura?

How can you win when your opponent is the perfect version of yourself?"

. . .

. . .

. . .

"If I win the Victoriad, I can present one question to the system engineer, and they will be forced to answer."

Taking a deep breath, I tried to maintain a calm demeanor.

"Winning the Victoriad is like winning the World Cup..."

(Author's Note: Messi is the Goat)

This grand tournament was broadcasted worldwide, instilling hope in people and showcasing the talents of young individuals who would shape the future.

In the novel, Snow was supposed to be the protagonist and emerge as the victor. He had a typical backstory of losing his parents, living in an orphanage, and witnessing its destruction at the hands of demons. This tragedy fueled his hatred towards demons, and he vowed to exterminate them.

Despite the predictable nature of his story, Snow possessed tremendous strength. To defeat someone like him, I would essentially have to overcome my own limitations.

"Let's calm down... First, I need to make a plan. Yes, that's what I'll do."

I realized the importance of having a clear course of action and understanding exactly what I needed to accomplish.

To start, I had to assess my own strength and capabilities. I immediately accessed my character profile to gain insight into my stats and abilities. This would help me formulate a strategy and determine the necessary steps to take.

A window immediately appeared, displaying my stats:

Abilities: None

Disclaimer: You are weak! Too weak! We advise you to hurry up and increase your strength before you die.

I was left speechless. My stats as Fry were disastrous, especially considering my status as the Lord of the Starlight Family. However, it wasn't just the low stats that surprised me. There was something else that caught my attention, something unexpected

Aura: SSS

I rubbed my eyes and read it again.

Fry had an SSS class Aura stock! It was beyond comprehension. How and why did I possess such a high-level aura? It was a level that the hero wouldn't reach until the end of the story, yet here I had it from the start. It must be connected to my reincarnation, but the details eluded me.

But regardless of the mystery, having an SSS class Aura stock was a tremendous advantage. With this power, I could easily defeat the champion of the Victoriad. Luck seemed to be finally favoring me.

Excited, I jumped up from my seat and rushed to the center of the room. I wanted to test it immediately. Drawing upon Fry's memories and knowledge, I attempted to unleash the aura from my body.

"Come, SSS Force!"

I strained with all my might, beads of sweat forming on my forehead, as I focused on releasing the aura. And finally, I succeeded. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment.

Instead of a powerful aura, my body was covered by a nearly invisible violet veil. Attempting to gather the force in my hand proved futile; it was incredibly weak and refused to take shape.

Frustration welled up inside me as I began to suspect that the system was playing tricks on me.

"Where the hell is the SSS class Aura?!"

The aura I possessed was nowhere near the power it should have been. It wasn't even at G+ level. I was left floundering in confusion, questioning the system's reliability.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts, the door to my room burst open with a loud bang, and a voice screamed.

"Fry! Get up, you motherfucker!"

As I turned to see who had barged into my room, curses involuntarily escaped my lips.

"Damn..."

. . .

. . .

. . .

In front of the Starlight family's grand mansion, a flying carriage came to a halt by the towering entrance. The doors of the luxurious carriage swung open, revealing a slender leg adorned in elegant high-heeled shoes and long black stockings that extended up to the thighs.

The servants and maids hurriedly gathered near the palace gate to welcome the esteemed lady who graced them with her presence. With deep bows, they acknowledged the girl before them.

"Welcome back, Miss Ada."

All eyes were drawn to a beautiful young woman with white hair and striking black eyes. Her face bore the marks of maturity, indicating her transition from childhood into adulthood. Her charm only grew more captivating with each passing day.

Casually, she made her way towards the elderly maid at the forefront.

"Frederica," the girl called out, and the old maid responded with a smile.

"little miss."

Without delay, the girl cut to the chase. "Where is he?"

The old maid seemed prepared for this question, swiftly pointing towards the interior of the palace. "The lord is still in his room."

Upon hearing the maid's answer, the girl couldn't help but curse under her breath. "Useless idiot."

With determination in her eyes, the girl stormed through the palace, heading straight for Fry's room. As the doors swung open, she called out to him with the utmost volume.

"Fry, wake up, you motherfucker!"

Inside the room, Fry stood dumbfounded in the center, gazing at her, which only fueled her anger further.

I found myself facing the imposing presence of Ada Starlight, Fry's older sister, who was one of the few people in this world who dared to speak so rudely to the wicked Frey.

I must clarify that Ada had been coming frequently over the past week, but I had been deliberately ignoring her. However, this time, I couldn't continue to ignore her any longer. Putting on a fake smile, I met the contemptuous looks directed at me and mustered a response.

"What brings you here to honor me with your visit, Ada?" I replied, maintaining my composure.

Upon hearing my voice, anger flashed across Ada's forehead, prompting her to scream once again. The sudden outburst startled me, breaking the calm I had experienced in the previous days. I couldn't help but admit that her scream was even louder than my mother's.

Taking a seat on the edge of the bed, I braced myself as Ada bombarded me with an endless barrage of words. She chastised me for my laziness, questioning my abilities as the lord of our family.

"In the past, you would at least fulfill your duties as the lord while indulging in your playtime, relying on our family name to protect you," Ada declared, her voice tinged with frustration. "But now, you do nothing but sleep. Tell me, what do you want? Do you wish to bring destruction upon the family that our father and ancestors fought and bled for? Will you be the downfall of the Starlight family?"

She continued, her words pouring out with intensity. "The other noble families and the Empire are circling us, waiting for an opportunity to strike. I do everything I can to uplift our family, but my efforts can only cover up the disasters you cause to a certain extent."

A single tear rolled down Ada's cheek as her voice trembled from the strain of her outburst. "I sacrificed my own life and the chance to enter the temple just to protect and support you. Why? You were not like this before. You are not my little brother anymore..."

Covering her mouth, Ada broke into soft sobs. Witnessing this scene before me, a part of me felt disturbed, but I quickly dismissed those emotions. I had never cared much for the feelings of the characters I had created by my self.

At the end, Ada said her last words and smiled instantly upon hearing them. "You are not fit to be the lord of this family..." Ada finished speaking and was about to leave, thinking that Fry wouldn't respond as usual. However, I quickly disappointed her.

"You're right," I smiled lightly at Ada, causing her to stop in her tracks and turn to look at me. She raised her eyebrows and gazed at me with teary eyes.

"May I beg your pardon?" she questioned, her voice filled with surprise.

"As you mentioned... you are right," I replied. Ada smiled again, but this time a frown appeared on her face as she knitted her eyebrows. If looks could kill, I'd be dead already. Ada gritted her teeth and clenched her fists.

"Fry... are you making fun of me right now?" she asked, her anger evident.

I wasn't bothered by her anger. In fact, I understood her perspective. Judging by Fry's recollections, I had come to realize what was going on within the Starlight family, even though it was a setup I didn't remember writing.

The reason for Ada's anger was simply because she was the most deserving of the position of family lord. After all, she was four years older than Fry and had just turned twenty. In a world without sexual prejudices between men and women, the eldest was supposed to succeed, which meant it should have been Ada.

However, everything changed because of their father, Lord Abraham Starlight, who had left a final will appointing Frey as his successor.

It was evident that the previous lord loved his son deeply, and his immense SS-class presence commanded respect even from the elders of the Starlight Family

This explains why Trash Fry has survived so far

I got out of my bed and headed towards my computer..

"I'm not making fun of you, Ada..." I typed on the keyboard and glanced at my stats once again. "I am weak. I am not the one who studied literature and philosophy, I am not the one who dedicated their life to the family, I lack the qualities, actions, and wisdom of a true Lord... But you possess all of those."

I pointed towards Ada, who stood there with a confused expression on her face. She tried to interject, but I quickly approached her, wearing the most sincere smile I could muster.

"I will willingly relinquish my title as the Lord of the Starlight Family to you," I exclaimed with excitement.

A moment of silence filled the room as I savored the changes in her expression. Ada's mouth formed an 'O' shape, displaying her shock and disbelief. Who could blame her? The words I spoke were beyond her wildest dreams.

She had endured injustice and had her rightful position stolen from her, but she had suppressed her feelings for the sake of our late father, her younger brother, and the family. Time had not been kind to her due to the actions of despicable Frey. Yet, here I stood, offering her a glimmer of hope, a light at the end of the tunnel.

"Fry... what are you saying... If you try to deceive me again, I swear—"

I didn't let her finish her words and quickly interrupted with my decisive response.

"The aura contract" I declared.

Ada's eyes widened in astonishment.

"What? Hold on!" she exclaimed.

I nodded affirmatively.

"I'm going to sign the Aura contract... Isn't that enough to demonstrate my sincerity?" I asked.

Ada trembled, and I couldn't help but enjoy her reaction. The Aura contract was a setup I had created, utilized by the protagonist Snow when making deals of various kinds.

The aura contracts in this world had strict conditions, and any breach would result in the aura exploding inside the body, reducing the victim to minced meat. It was the most powerful form of persuasion known.

Ada trembled even more, her voice filled with concern. "Fry... why would you do this?"

I replied calmly, "I meant what I said about signing the Aura contract. There's no kidding here. And don't assume I have nothing to gain. There are a few things I want from you in return."

Ada's suspicion grew, especially when I mentioned taking something from her. However, I was confident that she wouldn't refuse. Her desire for the position of Lord matched my own desire to return to my world—I was willing to go to Hell if necessary, and I believed she would do the same.

This was my most powerful weapon: my knowledge of the characters in my novel. I glanced at my weak stats once again, realizing I needed to strengthen myself as much as possible, and Ada would be the starting point.

It all starts here...

Between the perplexed ada and the confident Fry, another journey of suffering began, with no one knowing its secrets...
