In Eastern Huaxia's Seaport City

Before everything went to hell, Zhouhai Seaport City is a center of oceanic trade in the Pacific with a rich ancient history and beautiful environment from the mountains to seas, making them one of the famous tourist destinations in the world and became one of the economically developed cities which had huge population in the country.

Now everything is in ruins; the ancient and modern infrastructures became dilapidated, wide streets have piled up with abandoned vehicles and the atmosphere is eerily creepy.

The whole city is now became a wasteland, swarming with slow-moving zombies.

Beneath the large company building in which used to belong to a famous international pharmaceutical company…

A massive underground research facility was constructed for the purpose of conducting secret research and development experiments that includes all types of scientifically-impossible things that are restricted by both local and international laws.

At the moment, the whole research facility is in a state of emergency sealing all doors and restricting all access to terminals. In addition, deadly security measures are in effect making the place become a labyrinth of dungeon.

The female systematic voice resounding throughout the base has repeatedly issued a warning but there isn't any single soul residing in the base. In fact, it was long abandoned during the outbreak and not all the residents in the base made it out alive resulting of zombie-infested base complex.

Few years have passed since the outbreak, although there is still power, the base integrity is starting to deteriorate and new problems is now starting to increase. The female systematic voice issued another warning. "Critical failure in Cryogenic Array. All facility personnel must vacate immediately." After repeatedly its warning, the life support system is cut-off from all of cryogenic stasis, killing all of the test subjects except for one. The cryogenic stasis extended to the center of the Dome and forcefully opened the cryogenic stasis, defrosting the person inside.

The surviving test subject is a young woman in her 18 years of age. Her skin was so pale due to being frozen for a long period of time. She has an oval face with a round chin, an arched eyebrows, a slim nose and a cupid lips which is as red as ruby. Her black hair was long straight and silky feeling which falls below the shoulders. She was tall with sexy curves, huge breasts and beautiful straight, slim and long legs. In short, she's an exquisite beauty.

The young woman stirred in her sleep, slowly opening her dull red eyes. She blinked a few times and her vision became clearer but before she can even think, she suddenly vomited a lot of nutrient fluids and fell down the floor, hard.

She winced in pain but can't do anything as her body is too weak from all that sleeping in a cryogenic stasis. She took a time to re-adjust her body before she slowly gets up. A little unstable in her stance, she quickly observed her surroundings. She saw in what appears to be a large dome with several thousand cryogenic stasis lined up, surrounding the main core in the center of the dome.

After a quick observation, she looked at the terminal in the main core and approached it. She tried to log in but she has no idea what the password so she gave up of collecting more information to help her with her current situation.

She glances down at her body, noticing the chilly feeling, realizing she have no clothes on and only in mere white underwear. She then decided to look for clothes first before planning to get out of this place. She walked down the catwalks and exited the door from the north where an extended sky bridge leads to the main complex.

Coincidentally, a security office is located near the sky bridge so she decided to search for clothes there. The office is a mess like a storm ransack the whole room.

All the furniture has been thrashed, the documents are all over the place and bullet casings scattered everywhere. There's even a 9mm pistol laid in the floor.

She picked the 9mm pistol and checked its magazine. It's empty. She look at the weapons locker and search for 9mm ammo.

She only found two small boxes of 9mm ammo. She put the weapon and ammo down in the table first before she searched the other part of the security office. There, she found a bunch of locker room. She opens them one by one, searching suitable clothing for her. After several minutes of searching, she found a set of security outfit for female. She smiled and then she put the clothes on her. It is a perfect size. She then grabbed the bullet proof vest and wears it along with holster and a riot shield helmet. Checking everything from her outfit to weapons, everything is perfect.

She nodded with satisfaction. She glance at the security feeds and saw the current situation of the facility. It's infested with slow-moving zombies and what's worse is most of the doors are sealed tight unless she disabled emergency security protocol.

She sighs. 'Do I have to go all the way to the command center?'

Having no choice, she searches for a blueprint of the research facility. It only took her a few minutes to find the blueprints. Not wasting any more time, she looks for a short safe route that will lead to the command center.

Looking at the blueprints and confirming the route in the security feed. There are two possible routes she can take. The first route is in the west wing where laboratories are located. Currently, it is empty without any zombies lingering around but it will take a longer to get the command center. The second route is right into the atrium where zombies swarming the whole area. Although it is infested with zombies, she can still sneakily make way to the elevators which can directly lead to the command center.

Deciding what route to take, a melodic female voice sounded in the intercom. "Take a shortcut to the atrium." The young woman was startled, looking at the intercom with surprised eyes.
