Solviered Kingdom: Part 2

I woke up the next morning. It was a beautiful morning. The sun was looking nice and the weather was warm. I went downstairs and found a delicious breakfast. There was bread, chicken or whatever it was. It sure looks like chicken though but it tastes like chicken and beef combined. There was also lamb meat and there was a special dessert called "Fuku". I asked them about it and they said it is made of flour, berries, milk, butter, sugar and cream. It was delicious. That made me sure though that this place has almost all the things as my world and there is also magic. Huh, what a lovely world!

"Mrs.Violet, today we'll be visiting the town. So, get ready. The maids will give you stuff you need," Prince Johan said.

"Ok," I answered while bowing.

"Huh, you sure don't know about this place. I'll tell you in the way," Prince Johan said.

I was confused. When I previously bowed he said something like this too. Why? What does it mean? In my place, it was fine and everyone did it.

I went into my room and found everything they had given me.

"Let us help you get ready," both of the maids said.

"No, I can do it myself!" I replied.

"But we have orders and it is against the royal rules. You must let us do it," one of them said.

As it is against the royale rules I couldn't do anything. They helped me wear the dress. I don't know why? It was easy to wear. It was a top, shorts and a jacket-like thing. There were also gloves, boots and a special looking belt. I could guess it meant something. I see everyone has one of these belts with different shapes. I saw that the jacket has many pockets. I even found a knife there. I guess for self defence because I still can't use the magic powers. I also found some kind of powder. I don't know what this is. It was glowing though.

I went downstairs again and saw the prince on his horse.

"Can you ride a horse?" Prince Johan said.

"I can," I replied.

"Are you sure? If you can't, no worries. You can sit with me on my horse,"he said.

"No, I am completely fine. I can ride a horse," I replied.

"Very well, then," he said.

"So, how do you know how to ride horses? As I know humans on earth do not use horses." Prince Johan said as we started to go.

"I used to like horse riding. It was my hobby so I know how to ride horses. My father taught. I once won a horse riding competition. I wish he was there to see it," I replied.

"So, he was busy that day. He couldn't come for that reason, right?" he said.

"No, he actually died two years before that competition," I replied.

"Oh, I am sorry," he said.

"No, don't worry. I am fine now," I replied.

Man, why does he always behave cold? Even hearing about my father, he didn't change his mood a little bit.

We were going through the town. I could see so many things happening.

A guy was fighting over the price of a melon but seeing the prince he became silent.

5-6 kids were playing. They seem to have so much fun.

There was a guy ordering his slave and misbehaving with him. He was ordering him to move the glass structure. I don't know what that was. But his fate was unlucky, He accidentally broke a glass piece. The master became really angry and started to hit the man. The slave started to cry and started to ask for forgiveness. The master still didn't stop. He kept hitting him. The slave didn't look much old. He was like 13-14. I looked at the prince but he just ignored it. I couldn't do anything so I ignored it too.

A lot of people were selling different things. I guess business is the main way people earn here. Some were selling beautiful paintings, some were selling statues, some were selling food, some were selling books, some were selling clothes and some were even selling weapons.

Slowly after watching the marketplace and houses we reached outside the town where I saw a lot of wheat fields. Not only wheat there were different plants like corn, rice, A lot of vegetables and fruit trees.

"We'll be stopping at that farm there." Prince Johan said.

I replied positively.

Then I remembered about that bowing thing and I asked him.

"Hey,why do you stop saying to not bow? Is bowing wrong in this place?"

"Yeah, it is the thing criminals do. After criminals get a death sentence they bow. That means they have accepted their fate and can't do anything and when they do it their punishment either gets shortened or they die in the most peaceful way,"he replied.

"Oh, I get it now,"I said.

"There is a lot you don't know. Like about your suit too." he said

"My suit?" I said.

"Every adventurer, guards and royal suit are built differently. Most of them have a lot of pockets. They customise their suits themselves. You have been just given a suit of our choice for now. You can customise a suit of choice in the future."

"I'll tell you about your suit. It has many pockets. It has a dagger that if you stab a human or an animal with, they'll get poisoned. You have a bag of magdust. Magdust is a dust with fire powers. If you use that on something it will blast in 15 seconds. There is a small healing potion inside one of the pockets too." he explained nicely.

I had seen the dagger and the dust but I didn't see this potion. Damn! There sure are a lot of hidden pockets.

"And what about these belts? This looks like it has a meaning behind it." I asked

"It sure does. There are 5 types of belts in our kingdom.

CROWN BELT: Only kings get this belt. It has a crown symbol on it.

ROYAL BELT: Any other royal beside the king gets this belt. It has a star symbol on it.

OFFICER BELT: It has a triangle shape on it. Only higher ranking officers can have this belt.

WORKER BELT: Every worker and maid of the kingdom's army get this belt. It has a circle shape.

SPECIAL BELT: Special people of the kingdom get this belt. It has a spiral shape on it

The Special Belt is new. Only you and Arthur have this belt for now."

"For now? Do you plan to bring more people from Earth?" I asked.

"Maybe, if we need more than we will but it is not necessary that a special person has to come from earth. There can be someone from this world that is special." he replied.

"I get it now. You said my training will start. When will it be?" I asked again.

"Once Arthur is healed up, your training will start. We'll go to dungeons and in the wild to hunt monsters and our professional teachers will teach you at the Casthome too. Once you two get enough training, then you'll be brought to the Castle and sent to war." he replied.

Wait! Arthur, I forgot about him. I didn't see him before I left the Casthome. Dang it! I really should've thanked him.

We finally reached the farm. I saw many cows, horses, sheeps and some chicken looking things. I guess that's the thing I was eating. There were pigs too. On the other side of the farm, there were so many gorgeous looking trees. All of them had beautiful looking fruits but I didn't know any of them.

"Ciago, I am back,"Prince Johan said.

"Prince, we are so glad to see you again. How should we help you today?"Ciago said.

So,This guy's name is Ciago. He looks old. Like 60-65. He doesn't have that much hair.

All the hair left is white. He is chubby.

"No, I was just visiting the farm. Everything is good, right? Animals are getting good food?"Prince said.

"Everything is good. Cows are giving milk nicely. The amount of meat on the animals is good. They are eating food nicely because of your help." Ciago said.

"Good, then. This is our people's source of food. They should get healthy food,"Prince said.

"Yes, my lord, they sure do and will even in the future," Ciago said.

"Meet her,She is Violet Green. She might be our saviour,"Prince Johan said while introducing me.

This man really said that with a straight face.

"Oh, I see. Nice to meet you. I really hope that you will be our messiah. This kingdom is falling. Both of the Prince and the Princess are really kind. The previous king was really cruel. I hope this kingdom stays for a long time. At least, until my granddaughter dies. I want her happiness, " Ciago said.

"I sure will do my best." I replied.

We were talking when I heard a beautiful sound. Someone was playing the flute. It was so beautiful. It was like a movie. It was so beautiful. It was like a movie where farmers play the flute. It was filled with joy. It felt like it had emotions behind it. My body felt like they would start dancing on their own. I searched where the music was coming from. I went behind the trees following the beautiful music. Then I saw a girl sitting under a tree. She was the one playing the flute. There were a lot of birds near her. Beautiful trees with pink leaves and the shadow of the trees were so wonderful. The warmth of the sunlight was pleasant.

Then she suddenly stopped.

"Why did you stop? You were playing it so beautifully,"I asked.

"Haha…I am glad you liked it. I was taking my breath,"She said.

"My god, what a beautiful talent you have!" I said.

"No, you're just flattering me," she said.

"No, I am serious," I replied.

Then she started playing again. It was a different tune this time but it was still amazing. The birds and I were moving with the rhythm. It felt so pleasant.

Suddenly we heared a sound.

"Emma, come here." Ciago was calling for her. I see her name is Emma. She went there running. I went behind her.

"Emma, greet the prince,"Ciago said.

"Hello, Prince. Nice to meet you."Emma said.

"Nice to meet you too,"Prince Johan said.

"So you two have met before. I guess I don't have to introduce you two,"Ciago said.

"No, I just went there to see who was playing this wonderful tune,"I said.

"I see. She is my granddaughter,Emma. Emma, she is Mrs.Violet. She might be our saviour,"Ciago said.

"Nice to meet you,Mrs.Violet,"Emma said.

"Nice to meet you too. I have to say, your granddaughter has a beautiful talent. She can play the flute so well," Violet said.

"Yeah,her grandmother also says that. She dreams of being a musician when she grows up,"Ciago said.

"Yeah, a musician gets to explore the world and they can pick boys of their choice as their husband,"Emma said.

"I see. Haha… I hope you reach your dreams one day."I replied.

"Thank you!"She said.

"Do lunch with us please, Prince,"An old looking woman said. I guess she is Emma's grandmother.

"What do you say,Mrs.violet?"Prince said.

"Your choice," I replied.

"Ok, we will."Prince said.

As we were having lunch we sure had a lot of fun. There were tasty foods. They talked about a lot of fun things. I had fun with Emma a lot. As we were leaving, the sun was setting.

"Bye, I will come and meet you soon,"I said

"Please,come. My pleasure," Emma said.

What a lovely and cheerful child!

After that day. I went there almost everyday. By talking to them I found out she is 12 and her parents passed away 3 years ago at war. Prince and I also visited other places. I was enjoying it a lot. A month has gone by now. It was time for us to get magical powers. I was happy about it.

Also Arthur was healed completely by now....
