3 Prologue

--Lance's Pov--

Where am I?

That was the only thought on my mind right now. I was freaking out. I just woke up and found myself in an unknown room. The last thing I remember before waking up in this room was that I was playing my favourite game and after completing it for the 50th time I got struck by lightning.

Yes, I was struck by literal lightning. I don't even know where that lightning came from. While I was busy thinking about where I was, someone knocked on the door.

I didn't know what to do at this point so I simply told the person to enter the room.

When I said to enter, an old man around the age of sixty entered the room. He had white hair and a white moustache which suited him quite well. He looked like a gentleman and was wearing the clothes of a butler. The aura around him made me feel safe and he had a gentle smile on his face.

"Young Master Lance, Master Gilbert is calling you into his study room." He said and left the room.

I wanted to stop and ask him about who is Master Gilbert that he was talking about. But before I could say a thing, he already left the room and I was too scared to chase after him.

I felt as if I was missing something. I tried my hardest to remember what I was missing. After banging my head on the wall for 15 minutes, I remembered who this Master Gilbert was.

He was one of the numerous NPCs of my favourite game [ Nine Realms ]. He was the leader of one of the Seven Great Families in the game. Don't tell me I somehow got inside the game I have been playing for the past ten years.

While I was busy thinking whether or not I was inside the game itself, I saw some people using magic from the window. Yes, I saw people using literal magic. I couldn't believe my eyes right now.

But this confirmed that I was inside my favourite game [ Nine Realms ]. It was a fantasy and story-based game which took place in the world of Aldea. Aldea was a planet a hundred times bigger than earth and it consists of 9 continents.

Here every human awakens a type of magic at the age of 12. The seven common types of magic that most people awaken at the age of 12 are fire, wind, water, earth, lightning, light and darkness. Other than this magic there are hundreds of more magic in this world that can be awakened, for example - blood magic, rune magic, summoning magic, ice magic etc.

Elves, dwarfs, monsters, demons, giants and numerous other species reside in the world of Aldea. And like every other game out there, there are some players that gamers can play.

Jin is the main character which the players play most of the time. He fire magic which is one of the strongest. The power he had in the game was comparable to a dragon. But what makes him even stronger is, that he is a regressor and he awakened fire dragonic magic when he regressed.

He lost his family and continent in the war against the other races and was given second chance by the origin of the world to redeem himself.

Because of losing his family and friends once, he is very protective of them and is more of an anti-hero than a hero. Some people even called him a villain because of how brutal he was in the game. Jin does everything he could to get what he wants, doesn't matter if he has to play dirty of it.

Imagine what would happen if you made such a person your enemy. You will be killed off like a bug doesn't matter how strong you are, because at the end of the day you don't have plot armour like him.

And the person whose body I got reincarnated in, tried to pick up on Jin in every route and got killed by him one way or another. Lance Thunder is his name. He is the unluckiest person ever. In route 12 he died just because someone threw a rock at his balls. That was the stupidest way one could die.

He was unlucky enough to not awaken any magic during his awakening and got disowned by his own family on many routes.

But since I know the future I am going to do everything in my power to survive this chaotic world.

After taking a deep breath and calming my mind, I looked around the room. I didn't notice it before because of the confusion, but this was the most beautiful room I had ever seen.

The walls were painted a golden colour and the room was bigger in comparison to a house. It was decorated with different decorations and a lot of plants.

While I was busy mesmerising the beauty of the room, someone knocked at the door of the room again. It was the same Butler as before. Before I was fooled by his kind and gentle smile but this time I won't be fooled.

His name is Charles and he is the head butler of the Thunder family. And don't mistake him for an old man he is a grandmaster-level mage.

In the world of Aldea, the mages are divided into 12 groups --

Beginner level Mage

Intermediate level Mage

Advanced level Mage

Elite level Mage

Pseudo-Master level Mage

Master level Mage

Pseudo Grandmaster level Mage

Grandmaster level Mage

Disaster level Mage

Continental level Mage

Ruler level Mage

Primordial level Mage

And each of them is divided into 9 levels each from one to nine.

When someone reaches the level of elite, grandmaster and ruler level mage they can unlock a new kind of magic. The only problem is that no one has been able to reach the level of Primordial mage till now. Many people think it's only a myth. Even while playing the game I was never able to reach it and I have been playing the game for 10 years.

Like the level of the mage, the magic is also divided into 12 different groups.

While I was busy thinking all the information I could think of, Charles came Infront of me and released a little bit of his aura and said in a threatening tone," Master Gilbert is calling you."

Even though he released only a little bit of his aura, it was enough to make me quietly follow him since I am weak as fuck right now and I didn't awaken any kind of magic during my awakening.
