Step.. Step another step ,

The door to the café opened,  revealing the interior beauty of the magnificent coffee shop.

Couples, singles and even the widowed sips from their cups, while chatting amongst themselves.

" hey Renji "

Old yama called out without turning his attention away from the coffee machine.

" good morning yama " Renji waved at him wondering if the old man would ever noticed it.

" if you keep calling me that,  you might never get a cup again ".

Rolling his eyes , Renji walked towards old yama.

" that's a thing to say to a teenager , like I don't work my ass off for that ".

Taking a quick glance at his old and faded watch, wrapped around his wrist.

" damn it " Renji cursed underneath his breathe, impatiently waiting for old yama to be done with his coffee making and give him his deal..

Fortunately the old man took a break.

Staring at the young Renji whose face was covered in frowns dressed in his school uniform, old yama gave a warm smile.

" hey old man don't waste my time already am late for school damn it!!  "

Old yama dipped his hand into his pocket bringing out his wallet filled with cash.  Running his fingers through the cash,  he pulled out five hundred yen handling it to Renji,  who grasp it fast , and walking towards the exit.

" hey brat !  "  old yama called out  , stopping him halfway.

" You say what old monkey!!!  " Renji fired back with rage .

" have a nice day " ..

" tsk.... "

Renji slammed the door hard,  kicking off the soda can standing right at his front.  He gripped his backpack tightly and slowly increasing his pace , until he decided to max his speed.

It's morning and rays of sunshine beamed beautifully on the trees and well trimmed grasses.

Students chattered amongst themselves , walking around the school environment.

Running like one who is late for an interview, Renji dashed into the school hallway heading towards the gym class..

Renji flung the door opened resting his two palms on his knees,  panting hard.

" hey Renji you're late "  a tall skinny boy uttered just behind him.

" sorry Levi today was my payday and old yama kept me for long " .. Renji replied now standing upright.

" RENJIII!! "

a hard punch landed across his face knocking him to the ground,  as he groans in pain.

" Idiot where were you.. Stupid , you should thank your stars am in a good mood ". Yui fired while releasing her tightened fist,  that just knocked down Renji..

With blood coming out of his nose,  Renji staggers back to his feet..

" you're always in a bad mood Yui "

" you say what?  !! "

" alright keep it down you two it's almost time for our class " turning his attention to Renji  ,

" go get dressed you're up next " Levi advised .

Taking a walk towards changing room, Renji began to pondered about his encounter with old yama in the morning.

" am I supposed to feel sorry for calling him old monkey..?  Tsk he called me brat first and he got me late also.  " Renji thought within himself.

" I'll go talk to him when I'm out of school " ...

Opening his locker,  Renji removed his black kimono . Taking a quick look around to see if someone is coming, he quickly wore his kimono and adjusting his long thick curly hair,  he wrapped a band around his forehead , giving him a look of a samurai.

It's the D-day , the most anticipated day in shibuya high where students displays their skills and talents by participating in the school annual martial arts competition.

It's a competition held by the school authorities to help enhance the student strength and energy,  and also to help build up their confidence..

It's called the oukwom hwum

Oukwom Hwum is a partially offensive and partially defensive martial art that focuses on clobbering your opponent by shifting energies in your body to soften the blows you receive and strengthen the ones you hand out. The primary focus lies on both open hand techniques and quick movements and it often relies on the quick thinking and speed of the attacker.

The biggest strength of Oukwom Hwum is the speed with which an opponent can be overpowered. By exploiting the shifts in balance of both fighters your opponent may become infuriated or just frustrated, which is a huge advantage in and of itself.

On the other hand the biggest weakness of Oukwom Hwum is that many moves are predictable to a knowledgeable opponent. If you face an opponent who knows your tricks any advantage you may have had are out of the window.

The referee announced the two competitors ..

" fushiguro of senior class 1 A and katsumi Renji of junior class 2 B "

" are you ready?  "

The two fighters both bowed their heads in one accord..

" Fight!!!  "

Fushiguro charged speedily at Renji , swiftly throwing punches from both hands  and directions.

Guarding his face with his elbows , renji took few steps backwards trying to regain his stance.

" don't run from me brat I'll crush you into pulp and throw you into the trash where you belong " .

Giving a blank look , Renji charged this time around trying to initiate his secret technique,  that he has been saving for a day like this.

Step step step.. Renji kicked his left foot into the air, making a 360 turn swiftly  , his right foot came with an incredible speed and force landing on fushiguro's cheek. 

The impact sent him flying out of the domain , slamming his back hard against the wall.

Marvelled by Renji's incredible and fast skill his classmates uproar in joy , as they cheered him on while he was declared the winner.

" that was incredible Renji "

" it's a blessing to have you in our class "

More congratulations poured in by his classmates till it was finally the end of the class..

Yui, Renji and Levi walked along the street together

" hey Renji " Yui called out calmly

" hun?  "

" what are you going to do after school ? "

" hey why asking me that?  " Renji blurted out without a single care.

Yui paused clenching her fist

" OK OK..  Hmm come to think of it , I don't know but I would love to work and make money , lots of money so I can help others I think ".

" what about you Levi? " Renji asked supporting his neck with his two palms.

" I'll go to college and study medicine,  I'll love to become a doctor to save life. "

" hey it's same with mine I'm saving life too " Renji bragged..

" stupid , yours is all about money  " Yui and Levi paused , laughing at Renji.

" hey what's funny?  "

Yui pointed at his head still letting loose her laughter.

Renji slowly touched his hair and felt a tiny and soft matter..  this isn't something  that seems strange it's definitely a pigeon poop.

" hehehehehe "

Renji had a frown on his face as he walked off leaving Yui and Levi behind.

They continued their mockery of him chanting ,

" give us a sign great one "
