22 Jumping from the building again

'I can't believe how much stronger I've become...' Ignoring Mimi's shouted, Haru thought as he stared at the corpse of the Mutant Zombie he had just defeated. Reflecting on the times where he struggled to defeat even a Level 5 monster with the help of others, Haru now grasped the true extent of his skill and power that the System had granted him.

'Oh yeah...' He then examined the corpse, searching for any card or loot it might have dropped upon death. Unfortunately, Haru's luck wasn't on his side, and he found none.

Just as he was contemplating the lack of loot, a new window appeared in front of him right after the EXP message.

[HP +10]

[Charm + 1]

'What the?' Confused by the sudden increase in his stats and asked Mimi, "Did you just increase my stats? Is that even possible?"

["What are you talking about, stupid? I don't have such power or authority to do this. My only role as the Spirit of your System is to assist you as an advisor. Your stats increased because you killed that monster, absorbing its spiritual power, which is actually the EXP that you keep accumulating."]

"Was that the reason my stats were higher despite not using the stat points?" Haru inquired, recalling that his stats were unusually higher even before allocating the stat points.

["Exactly! Before the System initialized, you already killed multiple amounts of monsters, which is why your stats are higher. Although the stat that will increase and by how much is random, depending on your luck."]

"Okay..." Haru nodded and then asked curiously, "I can tell how other stats will help but what's the use of this Charm stat? How will it help me in battle?"

["It will help you attract wh*res."]

"You serious?"

["Dead serious."]

"..."

An awkward silence lingered in the classroom as Haru didn't know how to respond to that. Fortunately, the silence was soon interrupted as more guests or rather Zombies began gathering outside.

"GROWL!!!!"

Right outside the classroom, it wasn't just one or two zombies but multiple of them gathered as they greedily growled toward Aki's location and immediately leapt inside through the huge broken window.

But as they entered inside, most of the male Zombies got stuck in place, affected by the Husbando's Aura. However, the female ones were only slightly affected, letting out a greedy growl as they continued their advance toward Haru.

["Couldn't you have chosen little better place than this?"]

Mimi asked as the classroom quickly became a bit crowded.

"Not my fault. I didn't know things would take such a turn, Mimi," Haru replied, quickly summoning and sending the chain flying toward the nearest female Zombies.

["URGH!! AGAIN!!! MY NAME IS NOT MIMI!!!"]

Mimi or rather his System shouted in frustration of being called wrongly, but Haru couldn't answer as he was focused on his battle against the group of Zombies.

"HA!!" As the black chain coiled quickly around two female Zombies, Haru then pulled the chain and threw them toward the window on his left, facing outside the building.

Crash! As the two Zombies were outside the building in midair, Haru immediately uncoiled the chain and let the Zombies fall down to their death.

[You have killed a Level 3 Zombie! 4 EXP gained!]

[You have killed a Level 2 Zombie! 2 EXP gained!]

His System displayed messages, but he couldn't be bothered as even more Zombies began breaching inside the classroom.

'Wait... this might work!' As Haru's eyes fell onto the dead corpse of the Level 5 Zombie, an idea instinctively popped up in his mind.

Before the Zombies could come or surround him, Haru immediately coiled the black chain around the corpse of the Level 5 Zombie and began spinning its heavy body in the air as he quickly moved to the center of the classroom to have enough space for movement.

Swoosh! The corpse continued to spin at a high speed as Haru willed and controlled the black chain.

Although achieving such a feat would be unrealistic, with strength comparable to a Level 20 being and now having good control over his chain, Haru accomplished the impossible.

"Die." As Haru produced enough momentum within seconds, he swung the chain that he was holding toward the nearest group Zombies.

Bang!

Because of the weight and its body being sturdier, the Level 5 corpse swept the nearest Zombies and strongly threw them against the walls, painting them with black blood and disgusting-looking flesh.

[You have killed a Level 2 Zombie! 1 EXP gained!]

[You have killed a Level 1 Zombie! 0 EXP gained!]

....

Many messages popped up, but Haru did not stop to catch his breath. He quickly retracted the chain along with the bloodied corpse and smacked the Zombie that came near him, crushing it with the weight of the corpse.

Bang!

[You have killed a Level 4 Zombie! 6 EXP gained!]

"I think I can do this all day!" Unknown to Haru, a bloodied grin spread across his face as he continued to sweep the Zombies left and right against the walls with the chained corpse, effortlessly killing them.

"GROWL!!!!" But the second he said that, the number of Zombies within the classroom increased exponentially, making it a bit difficult for Haru to move and spin the chained corpse.

["What now?"] His System asked as countless Zombies gathered right inside and outside the classroom, greedily looking at Haru, or rather at his back where Aki lay asleep.

"There's only one thing left to do!" Haru released the chained corpse toward the nearby group of Zombies, halting them, and ran backward as he shouted, "We jump!"

["Eh? Eh?! W-Wait!"]

His system seemed to panic for some reason, but Haru didn't stop and immediately made his way toward the window, which he had broken as he threw the Zombies outside earlier.

"No time to wait!" Haru shouted as he quickly got on top of the window frame, and a height of four floors entered his sight.

There wasn't a moment of hesitation within him as he stared at the height.

["WAIIIIITTTT!!!"]

Ignoring his System's words and panic, Haru took a huge leap into the air without any fear.

The first experience is often the most challenging, yet it eventually transforms into a norm when faced with a second time. The same thing was true for Haru; after having already experienced jumping once from fourth floor, he didn't mind doing it again to get out of trouble.

But the same couldn't be said for a certain someone.

["AHHHHH!!!!!! What have you done!? You stupid!!! Suicidal maniac!!!! STOP!!!!!! I HATE HEIGHTSS!!!!"]
