Development Plans

"*phew*... Ok, that's it for today" Ryo said as he killed the last zombie. He checked to see if the virus had already crystallized, but it was only more viscous than before. "We can stop expanding for a while"

An entire week had passed since the RH Bladed Series was made. Ryo and the girls spent that time practicing with their new weapons, while Saya and Shouko learned how to use firearms from Rika. They used "living" practice targets in the form of the undead in the area. They had already expanded in a circular area with a diameter of 10 km, and expanding further than that was pointless at the moment.

Ryo was happy with the improvement everyone had. Even Kouta and the other soldiers were a bit more proficient and fit. Ryo was waiting for Kouta to be in a better physicla shape to give him the liquid virus, of which they had quite a bit stored in the laboratory. Of course, it was in a safe with lock that only Shizuka could open.

"Let's roll" he said as everyone followed him back to the Estate. He was very happy, since he had finally completed the mission he had been given around a week and a half prior.

The Estate was pretty much the same if you were to see the inside of it. The only noticeable differences were on the outside and main gate. The main gate now had two platforms, one on each side, that allowed someone to peer above the wall for any movements, while still being able to take cover if needed. This were the "watch towers" where Rei's parents spent most of their time ever since they had been officialy appointed as gate guards.

The outside of the gate now had a palisade of wood, barbed wire and metal barricades, like the ones seen in concerts. Also, all along the top of the wall were added three strings of barbed wire that gave an entire lap aroung the property.

It looked more like a prison than a settlement, but people felt safe. All of the materials they had gotten when they found a hardware store while clearing zombies. Ryo immediately sent the military trainees, under Kouta's leadership, to take everything and bring it to the Estate. The wood had been taken from a lumber company they had found not far from the Estate.

"Well, we're back at the Estate" Rika said as she rushed past Ryo, tapping him in the shoulder and sending him a flying kiss. She had gotten much more flirtier with him in the past week, since she got to know him better as a person. Ryo didn't put much importance to it. "Yup, we are"

When everyone went inside, the Miyamoto couple greeted them and informed Ryo that there had been no inconvenients during their leave. Now knowing the situation was just as they had left it, Ryo went to have a casual drink. On his way to the mansion's bar, he checked his status.

With all of his skills, bar <Cooking>, on the (Expert) level, Ryo felt very comfortable. Even seeing that he had gotten <Marksmanship> and <Gunsmith>, both of which came as a surprise, he felt very happy.

On a different note, he more or less had an idea of what <Presence Sensing> did, mostly based on the weird feeling he had ever since he got the Skill. Still, he decided to check.

[Presense Sensing: Allows the user to feel the presence of those around him. If a person stronger than the user, or someone whose concealing skills are above the level of the user's skill, tries to hide their presence, the user might not sense them depending on the difference in level. It functions as a sixth sense that can only be tapped if focused on.]

Ryo immediately focused on that "weird feeling" -now confirmed Skill- he had ever since returning to the Estate. To his surprise, he was able to faintly feel everyone around him and where they were. It was a very weird and strange thing. Something that, to him, felt supernatural. His thoughts were interrupted by Yuriko.

"Ryo, do you think this looks good?" the mature woman asked him while showing off her new outfit. She was wearing tight leather leggings that hugged her legs and ass firmly, complimenting her figure. On top she was only wearing a white shirt, tucked inside her pants and with two buttons opened, leaving quite a lot of her cleavage exposed. "If I didn't know why the change of wardrobe, I'd say you are low key asking for cock"

The answer he gave came almost instinctively, without much thought put into it. When he realized what he said he was about to apologize, but he didn't have a chance, since he felt Yuriko pulling him to her and pressing her lips on his tightly.

"And if I was?" she asked coily.

After spending some quality time with Yuriko, Ryo was going to help the trainees with their techniques. On the way he found Rei, who was practicing her fencing.

She hadn't been moving with them much to stay with her parents and ask her mom for advice on how to act around everyone. She really wanted to be by Ryo's side, but first she needed to learn how to be a good partner so she wouldn't fall behind the others. As such, she asked if they could exempt her from fighting and other stuff. She was mad when she knew she missed the RH series, but Ryo promised to give her a weapon similar to his own as soon as they found another weapon that worken on it.

When their eyes met, she let go of her spear and ran to him.

"Ryo!" she screamed in happiness as she hugged and kissed him. Ryo held her hovering a few centimeters off the ground. When they separated, he had a warm smile. "Already learned how to be a good wife from you mom?"

When she heard his teasing tone and what he had asked her, she blushed deeply and took a few moments to respond. "Moo! You big tease! Big bad man!"

Looking at each other for a few seconds, they both burst out laughing. Sometimes, acting like that was refreshing. Ryo almost had no time to act like someone his age, since all the time he was thinking of either his girls, how to improve something or the management of the settlement. The girls he could behave the most normal around were Rei, Shouko and Saya. Saeko was close, but she treated him with far too much respect and devotion. He was surprised she didn't have the skill.

"So, how were things in the last week?" Rei asked as she sat down. Ryo sat beside her and put her head on his shoulder. "Pretty much the same. Though I've been thinking of a few things we have to do"

"Like what?" She had asked her mom what she could do to help Ryo. Kiriko told her she could only support her man when he needed it, and that is what Rei had decided on doing. Supporting him by allowing him to tell her all his plans and ideas, even if she didn't care about or understood what he said. "Well, first of all, I wanted to go to the city to find another generator. We might need it, just in case"

"That's reasonable, precaution is good. Something else?" she asked while hugging him. She felt like sleeping in his warm embrace. "Well, I also wanted to find more firearms and cold weapons"

"I... *yawn*... see" Rei yawned as Ryo explained his ideas. He looked at her with a wry smile, but kept talking. "And we need to find a way to make functional bathrooms for hygiene... Saya says that perhaps if we make a channel from the river and use pitcher pumps it'll be enough..."

"And finally I want to have a good time with everyone" Ryo said while thinking of his new family and the friends he had. "You know, celebrate birthdays, perhaps make a festival... that'd be nice in the future"

Whne Ryo looked at Rei, he realized she was asleep. He smiled warmly seeing it and simply threw himself back against the tree they were sitting below, deciding to take a nap with her.

"This peaceful moments aren't bad at all either"
