Chapter 56: The will to live: Kill or be killed

This was the skill he had attained for surviving this long, seeing this he immediately activated it as this was his last chance to survive this. The hammer had slammed down at his face and at that moment bobby thought he would die but luckily the skill was just as it was explained, he was undamaged and his body had absorbed the force of the attack.

what the hell, hmm I've underestimated you again I guess I'll have to kill you myself he said as he jumped up high and with his strength smashed down on Bobby's chest, a small crater formed in the ground and crackers went all the way to the edge of the makeshift arena, even with this bobby was completely fine.

Enraged the killed started punching him continuesly but nothing was happening, then he started noticing something, bobbies injuries where slowly healing, he tried punching even harder and with more speed yet the more he did the more his injuries where healing, the crater was getting larger and larger as he kept using more of his strength and at this point bob's fat eye was now down and he could see through it but it was still black, infuriated he held bobby by the head and punched him, this time using all his strength and he flew to the stands crashing on the seats as people dodged, the impact helped remove the knives from his body but did no damage

bobby slowly stood up

so you guys where holding back all this time he said as he walked back into the arena.

Everyone was completely stunned, since the match started the crowd went from bored to excited to chanting for the kids to be killed but then when bobby stopped taking damage everyone was just in awe of him, especially the leader of the group. The leader had been watching with little interest as he was hoping these kids had some fight left in them but he was greatly disappointed, from the get go he had told the two criminals not to go all out but to make it interesting and he was happy he did so.

One thing I've learned since these powers where bestowed on us, people get new skills depending on they're feelings, when they reach a certain level or the type of situation they're in, now I know my theory was right he said to himself as he looked at bobby.

bobby walked back into the arena with a determined look in his eyes, I refuse to die like this, not when I have a clear path to survive he ran to the serial killer, picking up a dagger he slashed at bobby who tried to tie him up with his arms again but now nothing happened, he slashed and slashed but no cuts where appearing

wh... what are you he said as suddenly Bobby's whole body rapped around his head cutting of his oxygen, he tried to pull him off but like a snake bobby coiled around his body and using all the force he had absorbed, squeezed the life out of him, a few minutes later the serial killer stopped moving and he dropped to the floor, bobby stood up and turned to the pedophile, seeing the look in Bobby's eyes sent a shiver down his spine, he tried running away but Bobby's hands wrapped around his neck and squeezed till his head changed colours multiple times and he couldn't feel any pulse then he dropped him.

Due to Bobby's ability they nick named him snake boy but bobby didn't seem happy at all, he turned around and slowly walked up to Andy but before he could get to Andy, someone suddenly snatched the body away. Looking around, Andy's half dead body was in the hands of the leader of the group

I won your stupid match, give me my friend back he yelled

haha, that look in your eyes, I love it, I'll keep your friend with me so you don't escape, from now on you'll be my entertainment he said as he walked of while holding Andy

Bobby's was furious and was about to attack when he fell on is knees, the skill had deactivated and he was too tired to walk, his consciousness was fading

no matter what, I refuse to die he whispered before he blacked out. Mean while Adam was thinking of a plan to escape his place, now Andy was with the leader and he knew where bobby was so he could figure out a way to escape with them, the only issue now was he didn't know how strong the leader was, he was speculating whether he could take him out with a surprise attack or not when he saw bobby being taken away, he followed them to the room where they locked bobby up.

I'll make up a plan and execute it by midnight.

An hour later bobby woke up in a fright and quickly puked, his hands where shaking, his heart was pounding and his head felt really dizzy

what happening to me he thought, while trying to calm down he remembered the death match and how he killed the two men, he looked at his hands and he saw blood on them, he could still feel how they struggled for they're lives making his heat pound and his body shake

I.... I killed someone, I actually killed a person, he suddenly saw a notification and opened his status window

only the strong survive, it's kill of be killed, I'm never letting any of my friends die in front of me again, and I'm not going to die, no matter what. If I have to kill everybody here to save Andy then so be it he said with a new found conviction and drive
