Chapter 49: Gameo the god of games

Standing between Romeo and Danny was a mage, a magic user, there have been very few encounters with mages up till this point, not that there weren't people who didn't choose magic as an ability but they weren't known so far so to see an actual magic user was a big deal.

Stop this fight at once the mage demanded

get out of my way Romeo replied

the mage brought out a wond and casted a spell, suddenly while Romeo was walking forward he hit something, a force field suddenly appeared around him

mage huh? let's see how strong you are, throwing a punch with his two right fists the barrier broke on impact

the mage once again casted multiple barriers around him but with each punch Romeo was destroying them, the mage then casted another spell and strings suddenly tied Romeo up but he easily released himself by flexing his muscles, the mage tried another spell and Romeo started levitating in the air

you've got a lot of tricks, as expected from a magician but it won't do you any good, a third set of arms came out from Romeo's sides as he clapped all six arms together and a strong force or wind punched them back, the mage created a barrier to keep himself and the others behind him from flying away, suddenly Romeo pulled out two blades with chains attached to them and started swinging them around, the mage made another barrier but as the sword came into contact, it sliced the barrier like butter and cut the mage into three parts, Danny and the telepath where now in a state of panic

He just killed the mage like he was nothing

he's too powerful the telepath said

it seems the telepath has a strong grip on this city Romeo said as yet another person came between him and Danny, Niki had just recovered thanks to Sarah but Danny knew even she was useless in front of Romeo

very well Romeo said, it's time for some air support

air support? Danny and the telepath thought when suddenly

looking up, they saw multiple jets flying over the city and they were dropping bomb after bomb on the barrier

What the hell, how is he alined with the air force

Owen suddenly made a call and not to long someone picked up

general, what are you doing, call off your jets now

yes jets, your air force are attacking law city, sir we haven't deployed any jets since this started

what? stop lying, your men are bombing this city as we speak,

sir I can assure you we haven't left the ships, not a single jet has been deployed

as he hung up the call he got another call and it was from the vice president and many others asking what was going on

Romeo had activated the abilities of one of the games in his dimension, Frontline, the game had a setting to call for air strikes and presently that was what Romeo was using, except with his ability it was endless, the whole city was shaking and everyone was in panic meanwhile Romeo just kept walking forward, the man in front of him dashed forward and threw a punch, he was one of the ten strongest in the city so he was no weakling, but when he threw his punch, Romeo caught his lunch, lifted him up, held his othe hand, legs and head and pulled them all of his body killing him with minimal effort

This is your last chance Romeo said as he was finally in front of Niki Sarah and Danny

hey help me, give me a chance to escape Dany said in his head but he got no response, hey are you there

Owen had finally realized just how powerful Romeo was, he remembered reading his mind, it was filled with nothing but his friends, family and finally, games, a whole lot of games, if what Romeo was doing now where abilities from games or game characters then he wasn't even using half of his power and he wasn't sure Romeo had a limit. At this realization he decided to leave the city as fast as he could through a secret railway line

Danny was left all alone, Owen was still using his telepath to monitor the situation while he escaped

you where my best friend, now your nothing but a stranger to me, I'll ask you one last time, where is the telepath, the force field covering the city began to crack and the next second, a sound like glass shattering was heard and the force filed was broken, the rain of bombs continued as all over the capital explosions where occuring everywhere, people where dying and chaos ensued in the city.

These people are innocent, you'll be known as a mass murderer, is this what you really want Danny said as he watched everything around him get blown to hell

I really don't know, we talk telepathically, even when we met I couldn't recognize him, for all I know he's someone who wanted to rule the city Danny finally confessed

Romeo slowly lowered his sword as the air attacks stopped
