Adam was now facing five whits and ghosts

ahh! you've got to be kidding me he yelled

multiple cars started floating in the air and the whits charged at him

that's it I'm or holding back, running at full speed he was about punching one of the whits when a car came in from the side but putting out his hand he stoped the car but that slight stop gave the whits time as one punched him hard and two others jumped holding him and slammed him into the ground making huge cracks on the floor

yup, Adam was right these things are way out of my league Andy said with Bobby nodding in agreement

so these ghosts can react to my speed and the whits are strong as well but none of them have actually done any real damage, so they're just a bunch of weak annoying monsters Adam thought. While the two whits held him down another jumps and was about to punch down but he kicked it into the roof and when it fell he grabbed the two holding unto him and slammed them into the third mid air before throwing them to the side.

Getting up Adam swiftly dodged a kick to the head and caught a punch from another but when he as about to count his fist stopped in the air

looking beyond the whits he could see the ghosts with they're hands up

they're stopping me?

a punch landed on his face pushing him to the side

fuck they're annoying Adam yelled in his head, ok I need to take out the most annoying first. He ran towards all five whits and dodged they're attacks and headed straight for the ghost, throwing a punch but it went right through the ghost

I forgot about they're intangibility, a dropkick at the back sent him crashing through multiple cars

hehe me neither, they're moving way to fast, hey what exactly is Adams superpower

not sure, I thought it was super speed at first but he's also super strong

maybe he maxed out his stats that's why he's so strong

ok, that's enough Adam said walking towards them, now let's see what this new skill can do

Adam heard a loud pumping sound and his chest felt heavy, his heart started beating faster and his senses where going crazy

damn it, I can't control it, no I'm in the middle of a battle, I have to concentrate, just like Niki thought you. Cars were flying his way and the whits where closing the distance quickly when suddenly he disappeared, they all stopped wondering where he went. suddenly, from the side a ghost got slammed to the ground with a car, turning around they saw Adam holding the car

So you can be killed, I thought you guys where always intangible like in movies and novels but I guess that's wrong, the cars flew in his direction and he disappeared from they're sites,this time a whit was killed, its head was bashed into nothing but flesh and blood, when hey turned round they didn't see Adam. he was to fast for even the ghosts to perceive, this annoying match up just turned into a one sided massacre as Adam killed them one after the other.

This new skill is something else, I can hardly keep my balance after using it, it feels like your in a glass elevator going up, you can see and feel the hight but the moment it stops you instantly drop back down to the ground floor, he said as he sat on the floor

Adam, your alive Andy called out as they ran towards him

kind of, a skill is kind of like an extra minor ability you get as you get stronger

wow so does that mean we can get skills too? bobby asked excitedly

After they rested and ate for a little while they went off again killing monsters and looking or food

umm hey Adam, I know this might be much but, can you teach me how to fight

huh? I don't think you need to, once your strong enough you can defend yourself just fine

I know that but I mean if we run into people, they'd want to take our supplies, I know your strong but I also want to learn to fight, we just learned some monsters have intelligence and can fight so wouldn't it benefit us if me and bobby knew how to fight? plus it'll take a lot off your shoulders

hmm, alright I'll teach you guys how to fight, plus I forgot there's another way to get stronger besides.

So the next day Adam started teaching the two boys how too fight, as they trained and fought monsters they were getting double the results for the next few days

then you do whatever it takes to survive, you don't need to kill them, just hit them hard enough to knock them out

and what if they try to kill you, then cripple them for life, break they're arms or legs so you escape but that's it, no matter what you don't need to kill
