Chapter 44: Only the strong survive
Keven no, those where the only words his friends could mutter as he was being eaten alive, first thing to be ripped out was his throat, next they dug into his stomach ripping out his organs next they ripped apart his arms and legs
His friends slowly peed on themselves as they silently cried knowing this was the end, soon they would meet the same cruel faith.
he wasn't even strong at all one ghoul complained. Suddenly someone rushed in from the side and ripped the ghouls head clean off, it happened so fast no one saw what or who did it, turning to the side they saw Adam standing there with the head of the ghoul in his hand
When you guys talked I thought maybe you where smarter and wouldn't result to acting like typical monsters but even if your capable of intelligence your all still the same
The ghouls where frightened and immediately brought out they're weapon, higher class ghouls had fleshly specialized weapons, it could form almost anywhere on they bodies but mostly the back to the shoulders and it grew stronger the more humans they ate, tentacles began forming from the ghouls and they launched it at Adam who disappeared from they're sight and again two more heads fell from they'r shoulders
Few seconds later, listen well kids Adam said as he held the last ghoul by the neck, if you want to survive then get stronger, only the strong survive and the weak get killed. The ghoul tried stabbing him through the back but he caught the tentacle and use it to stab the ghoul in the head. after that he turned to the kids who where a bit calm but where still huddled together

now Adam had a decision to make, leave them and continue on his own or help them, he didn't trust them but he felt bad, they where just trying to survive and now one of them was dead, he knew the world was cruel but even he had to admit the state of the body of the kid who had been eaten was too gruesome, even for him
Finally breaking the silence was the elastic kid as he turned to a corner and vomited while the other just sat they and balled his eyes out. After a full thirty minutes, the two kids where finally calm and able to talk

bobby was a short fat kid with black hair while Andy was a slim kid with blond hair and blue eyes.Ok bob and Andy, listen very carefully if you see a monster who's level is higher than you, run ok, always keep a weapon with you and always aim for the head, also try to keep all your stats even with each other and try to think instead of relying on you powers to do the trick ok Adam advised, then he stood up and was about to leave, to him he had helped enough, if they stuck to that then they would be fine

Adam was about to leave but his conscience wouldn't let him, maybe I can just guide them till they're strong enough right? but just then a notification popped up that gave him an even better reason to help them but there was something off about this notification
Quest: help bobby and Andy reach lvl 100
reward: 50 stat boost in speed and endurance
Why does it say quest and that's a new reward, I've never seen this before and the rewards are different as well, missions give you exp and free stat points but this one directly boosts specific attributes, but why did a quest come out, is it because I considered helping them? well at least I can differentiate between a mission and a quest
Ok I'll help you Adam said, in fact I'll help you level up till you reach 100
hearing that put a smile on they're faces, now they felt they would actually survive all this

Common let's get you guys some new clothes. They searched around the place and whenever a ghoul or a zombie approached them Adam killed it till they found a place to sleep for the night,

Adam new this was a bad idea, someone knowing your stats means they basically know all your skills and strength and they can make a counter measures for it but he wasn't going to trust a bunch of kids who tried to rob him the first time they met besides he wasn't that type of guy so it was fine.
