while they where filling in the form for citizenship they were all still think of what Danny said

the whole city was run by the government, how was that possible, the government was ment to be the first thing to fall apart because with these powers everyone was on equal grounds, that was the reason for the chaos world wide as everybody could now do whatever they wanted and law enforcement couldn't stop them as they were either two fast or two strong and with the numbers there was no way the government could keep sanity and order so the question on they're minds were why did these people choose to still follow the government, how was the government still working and what system was put in place to ensure people's survival and cooperation

all these thoughts where running through they're heads when Danny spoke up

if you guys are done I can take you to choose your rooms for which you'll be staying also Romeo, Adam why don't we have a school reunion

a few minutes later Danny had taken them to a hotel and they were given room keys, they had to stay as a group so as to reserve space for other future citizens, after unpacking Danny wanted to check something so he called Adam and Romeo to go check the training grounds but just as they left the room Niki and Sarah came out to join them

aldo Danny didn't mind as the two girls where seriously eye catching Niki had a different reason

the whole place felt too good to be true, there was something fishy about the city so untile they knew everything about the city they would stick together with the boys till they can move on they're own

it's what we call the city since you know the whole chaos thing and now the apocalypse.

As they went into the building it was just a regular gym but the equipments were a little different

all the weight plates were far bigger than usual and they could see guys struggling with them

don't these guys have super strength? why are they struggling with those weights

these weight plates aren't the same as regular old weight plates, every weight plate here starts from 1 ton to as much as 50 tons the dumbbells weight from a thousand pounds and above

wait how where they able to calculate the weights that they can carry Nikita asked

oh that? we have some magic users who used spells to increase the weight and size of an object

what?! they yelled

wait so there are magic users here? Romeo asked

yh they are treated as royalty here, they made the walls and barrier you saw outside that keepings the monsters from coming in and they made these weight plates , they pretty much built the city to what it is right now

wow so they're pretty strong right? Sarah asked

yup, oh and uhh this is the beginners training ground, if you can pass this place then I'll take you to the other better training grounds

Adam and Niki were happy to finally know we're they're strength lies but just then they went to the bathroom to check they're stats first

damn, I've really become much stronger haven't I, I didn't really notice it then but I've gotten a lot stronger, I leveled up 33 times since the apocalypse, it must be those ghouls I faced

after coming out Nikita was the first to test her strength, so they started with 10tons, she couldn't feel the weight so they added more up to 30 on each side making it 60tons but she could still lift it pretty easily then they made it 50 on each side making it 100tons, only then did she start feeling the weight of the plates, after a few more and she was bench pressing 180 tons and she stopped, she could lift more but didn't want to show her through strength since she still had her suspicions about the place

next was Adam and he started right at 100 tons and was only able to lift 120 tons in total, Niki thought he was holding back but when he started sweating as he bench pressed it she was convinced he was at his limit but what they didn't know was he had yet to evolve twice

Danny couldn't believe it, Adam was strong, almost as strong as he was only about a month ago he was still a fat short kid and even before all this he was better than Adam at everything but now Adam was close to his own weight limit

wait a minute, the average person with super strength can lift exactly 100 tons so that means Adams strength level should be around 110 to 120, damn it he's close to mine what level is he even at, since I got here I was able to level up to thirty so that means he's at level twenty right? what was his base level of strength anyway, normal humans have a strength of ten and Adam was weak so he should have like a 5 or 7 at base right?

the more Danny kept thinking about it the more he felt hot and started sweating a little, something Nikita and Romeo took not of

ok so do we move over to the next training ground?

huh? oh uhh no you have to lift the most weight we have here which is a 1000 tons

oh then I just have to get stronger then Adam said

hey umm if your not too tired maybe we can have a sparing match Danny said

really awesome when can we...

not so fast Romeo said we still haven't seen the whole city yet and we don't know how things work around here

as they continued to walk around the city they quickly noticed there wasn't much to see as everywhere they went was just one lodging after another then there where training facilities and even weapon shops or more specifically gun shops

hey uhh Danny how do you guys get food

oh that? the city is divided into three sections what your seeing now is the outer layer mainly for living and training, if we move deeper into the city you'll see another wall, that wall leads to the middle section where all the food comes from, the food is grown there and they even have like some kind of food system, they make everything from home made to fast food but sadly no drinks

oh I see it, it's huge just like the one outside Adam said

huh?

yh I see it too there are more guards on the wall than the ones outside Niki said

wait you guys can see it? Danny said shocked

yh you can't? Romeo said a little surprised

hehe crazy Danny said in a low voice

so where are the government people or politicians that run the place

oh they live beyond the food district, it's at the center, very few people know what happens there but what they told us is that's where they try to get contact from other world governments and make plans to survive all this and reclaim civilization

wow so they still believe they can return the world back to normal Sarah said

yh we all hope so to

but do they really think the god of knowledge will let that happen? Adam said

it's worth a shot right? Danny replied

they're still the same, plotting and keeping secrets from the public as always Niki thought to herself, what are they hiding

ok guys I think we'll stop here for today, you guys get some rest, tonight there's a little party the students will be doing, a little get together to celebrate those who survived
