Chapter 21: The Apocalypse: The first wave

After the incident news got out that death blade had killed the boss of the underground along with other fighters and his goons, it was safe to say Nikita and her friends wouldn't be getting any unwanted guests anytime soon, aldo Nikita was sad she couldn't go out and get stronger she wasn't too worried because she had enough of it, every night she would have panic attacks of the fight, the faces of those she killed kept flashing in her dreams and sometimes she wished there was another way but there wasn't, it was either she died or they did so she decided to just live with it

hey Romeo, what do you think the apocalypse will be like Adam asked as he walked into the living room with a towel wiping away his sweat as he was shirtless

I don't know, maybe some kind of alien type shit or something like that

Nikita had just come out from the bathroom herself, when she sat down she started thinking, since the incident she hadn't gone out much, anytime she did people avoided her so she spent most of her time training Adam or training on her own, when thinking of training Adam popped into her head, he had gone through his third evolution, his hair was longer than before to the point he had a small ponytail at the end, she started thinking of the times they would train and in the process get into an awkward situation with either him or her on top the other or when he would take of his shirt while resting, she had seen guys shirtless before but not many had muscles and almost non where as handsome as Adam, it seemed each time he had an evolution his body and facial features would get better and more refined, his eyes where now a dark blue, his face and skin where smoother as well, thinking back there was a time she walked in on him bathing when she was looking for Sarah and saw his manhood, ever since then she couldn't get him out of her head

damn Nikita get it together, why am I thinking of a 15 yr old kid like this, thinking about him is getting me all hot inside, I have to control myself, but he turns me on and worse he doesn't even realize it, get it together, just focus on your stats, yes you haven't allocated any of your stat points since then and you've grown stronger too, tomorrow is the day of the apocalypse so might as well get ready now

speaking of power hungry freak Adam had just finished bathing but he was still in the bathroom, he let out a sigh

two days and two weeks, the apocalypse is tomorrow, and I haven't leveled up one bit, might as well distribute my stats before tomorrow, it's not like I can get any stronger as of right now so might as well get prepared

after they ate Sarah went to dispose of the cups they used to eat noodles, she started reminiscing about all the times they had spent together, all the times she and Romeo talked while watching Nikita train Adam, all the times she would comfort Nikita when she had her panic attacks at night and her favorite but most embarrassing memory, when Romeo played a joke that he was sick and she used it as an excuse to examine him and touch his body, remembering this made her blush a little

we sure have come a long way in just two weeks haven't we, and we've grown closer

That night none of them could sleep as they where to nervous for the apocalypse, no one knew what was going to happen or how it would be or look like, all they knew was it was an apocalypse and it wasn't going to be good

Adam walked out of the house to see Romeo standing out side

I doubt it, this is a battle royal with different stages so I'm guessing whatever the apocalypse is, it's to dwindle our numbers till the last remaining survivors are crowned the winner

but that sounds like a survival game, in battle royals you kill all the other.....

so it means he's using the apocalypse to weed out the weak ones, then in the final stage those who are left fight till the death until there is only one man left
