Chapter 2: Abilities

This is a message to all of humanity from the god of knowledge and wisdom.

The game has begone, starting now your world is now in a battle royal, for the next decade your world will experience ten levels of apocalyptic events, only the strongest will survive till the next stage, you have only one month to prepare, choose your ability

Evolution

Magic

Power

Mutation

what the heck, what is this message and why can I see it like a screen is to my face, Adam was a little surprised, who was this god of knowledge, why did he start this battle royal, why ten levels of Apocalypse and most of all what's with these categories of abilities. All these thoughts where going through his head, he would have taken it as a joke but this was a screen he was seeing when there wasn't a screen at all, just floating messages in the air

ok so let me take things slow, the world is now in a battle royal and only the strong will survive so I need to pic the strongest ability right? wow which would I choose, I don't even know what these categories are

when thinking about the categories on the screen description appeared down below

Evolution: gain the ability to evolve from your current state, body improvement, all round physically limitations will be broken ( Limitations: can not evolve to an immortal or a god )

Magic: gain access to the mystic force and able to gain godlike abilities, cast spells and more. ( limitations: can never become a magical being )

Power: gain the abilities to have supernatural abilities, super human strength, speed etc. ( limitations: can not posses overpowered ability that put you above or equal to gods )

Mutation: gain the ability to shape shift or transform your body into whatever you want, animate or inanimate. ( limitations: can not transform into anything capable of killing a god )

wow now this is very hard to choose, each of them look pretty cool, but all of them have the same limitations, whoever this god person is has made it clear he won't let me or rather humanity get stronger than him or come even close

now which should I choose, this is tough, why must I choose one and if I choose can I choose again? he wondered

thinking about it he remembered the conversation from earlier today, when romeo asked him which he would choose then he remembered what his answer was

alright, I know what I'm choosing

The next day, Adam was preparing for school when he noticed his siblings doing strange things, his step sister was floating in the air, his younger step brother was speeding all over the house, and his step elder brother was punching holes through the walls

wow so it wasn't a dream after all, I didn't see any screen this morning so I thought it was all a dream

they where too immersed in they're new found abilities that they didn't notice Adam getting ready for school, even his parents also had abilities but with all what was happening he couldn't wait to get to school, for some reason he felt today would be different and the start of something new and different

At school everybody was showing off they're abilities, when entering class he saw his friend Romeo as usual with his game playing and ignoring what was going on around him,

hey Romeo he called out but as he came closer he noticed Romeo looked way different, he was muscular to the point it showed even with his school uniform on, and he looks where more defines making him far more handsome than the School's hot shots

what the hell happened to you Adam asked

you don't seem so different, what did you choose Romeo asked without looking away from his game

I'll tell you but first where's Danny

he's showing of his super strength to Trixie and her friends

huh? super strength he said as he went out to look for Danny.

not to long after he saw Danny outside of school lifting the school bus used for school trips

wow Trixie's friends where amazed and so was Adam, he really did get super strength, I which I got super strength he said a bit in regret for the decision he made

so you see, I'm no longer the loser or the weakling I use to be he said as flexed his muscles

wait a minute he has muscles now! Adam yelled in his head as he looked closer and sure enough Danny was now jacked up, his abs where bulging out and his chest was huge, his shoulders where broad and his arms where also large

wow he looks so cool

Danny you look amazing Adam said as he approached them

hey Adam you.... look the same

yh I guess so

what happened didn't you choose super strength?

no not really

well then what did you choose

hey Danny who's this? Trixie said as she wrapped her arms around Danny's

oh this is my friend

why does he look like that, does he not have an ability?

umm yh he does, you do have one right Adam?

yh I chose.....

well well well, what do we have here

they all turned around and saw the gang of guys who Bully Adam and his friends regularly,

well if it isn't the perverted dweeb dumpster and his friend the apple pig

what are you doing with your arms around my girl he said

we are done josh I'm with Danny now, he has super strength she said as she caressed his chest

yh I do now so you and your minions better scram before I make you

oh really, this is interesting because I also have super strength he said as he took of his school jacket to show his ripped body as well, so let's find out which of us is stronger, Danny gulped and for a second thought of running but the Trixie pushed him forward

common Danny show my ex what my new man can do but in her mind Trixie had other plans

I can't believe these two block heads are fighting over me, whoever's wins I'll flirt with them then make him do whatever I want, I mean they're men so they'll do exactly as I say

Danny feeling high on the accolade from Trixie stepped up to fight with Joshua,

he was sweating, he had never been in a fight before and to make matters worse it was against the number one delinquent in the whole school even if he could fight it wouldn't help much with Joshua

shit shit shit I'm fucked, thinking on his feat Danny did the only thing he knew he could in a desperate moment

he ran towards Joshua yelling out as he ran head first

Joshua stopped him with one arm but Danny grabbed the arm and went low, grabbing Joshua's family jewels

ahh!!!!!

Joshua yelled, I give up, you win you win

every one was in shock

Adam on the other hand sighed in relief, he thought his friend would get pulverized

just then he got a call on his phone, it was from Romeo.the teacher was in class

a few minutes later Adam and Danny rushed to class to see everyone watching something on they're phones, they took they're seats while Adam asked romeo what was going on

it's the world he replied the world is going into chaos
