The Magistrate could not hide his expression well this time and he flinched as Alaric said those words. "My Lord. I'm sure that's not needed! I'll send servants to prepare special rooms where you can all have your baths."

But Alaric smiled easily and shook his head. "That won't be needed, only later. We can wait for a bath later, you don't have to bother yourself with that until after the tour."

"But my Lord, you must be tired. Have some snacks and a bath before you continue any tour." His tone was almost pleading now but Alaric remained unmoved.

"What did you tell him?" Rota whispered as she watched the two battle it out between themselves on what they should do first, tour or bathing.

Belialthorn smirked. "What do you think, the Magistrate must have in his room? Treasures. That he didn't have time to hide. If we go on a tour we can take anything before he hides it."
