This probably going to be a trash book like all my other books so please don’t bother reading. The updates will be sporadic at best. Now if you do decide to read, I feel sorry for you. If you don’t, you made a good choice.

Chapter 25

After Sol finished the ranged fighters in a minor that all who have watched anime would be jealous of, He looked at all the defeated him's. With this look at the defeated, he got the headache of all headaches. All of the knowledge and memories of all these people became his.

As all this was happening, the body of those defeated began to transform. They seemed to become what looked like boxes. Each one had a name on it of the person that was defeated. But that was only if Sol wanted a specific memory.

In this headache, the brain was gaining knowledge of hundreds of different worlds with people from hundreds of different experiences. He was a teacher, he was a master at mathematics, he was a scientist, he was a designer, he was a fighter, he was drunk, he was a wizard. Hell, one time I was a phoenix. But there were only a few things that all lives, including this one, have in common.

1. In all his lives, he was either powerful magically or otherwise on the top.

2. He was always decimated agest unless what he was was never known to the world.

3. He was always betrayed by someone important to him.

After an unknown amount of time had passed, The headache subsided. Sol got up and left his mindscape and re-entered his true body.

...

Sol had stopped spasming in the chains and now was completely still.

Sylvia was extremely worried. He had been shaking in these chains for the past 5 minutes. And that was after the hellish tentacles had put him back in his own body.

'What has happened to my Sol'

...

(POV FIRST: SOL)

After I left my mindscape, I woke up to see what looked like a family. I looked around and saw a familiar face but I just couldn't put my finger on it. My mind was still processing all these different realities, all the different personalities. I know that I was in my latest life where I was a demon, and that was probably the only reason that I was able to conquer all of those personalities.

"Wha ... Where am I?" I asked the general public.

'S ... Sol?" a voice that I know I have heard before but I couldn't remember the name.

"Do I know you? I have heard your voice before but I don't remember your name." I said, directed to the speaker.

"I am Sylvia. I am the person who helped you in that cave all that time ago." said the voice.

And all a sudden, I remembered. It was like the box in my head for this Sol was re-opened. I remembered who I was fighting, the mission I gave myself self and the mission that the demon had given me before he showed me all of my memories. I remembered the royal family, I remembered Eliana.

I remembered where and how I got all of my power.

But I still shed tears.

"Sylvia ... You ... are you safe? Are you hurt?" I asked her.

"I am not safe but I am not hurt," she responded.

After I heard that she was not safe, I instantly jumped out of my super. My eyes flared open. I could see everything extremely clearly.

With all my strength, I pulled on the tight chains, and they all broke. I fell to the floor in a superhero position. The instant my feet gained any traction, I bolted to Sylvia.

"You are safe now ... my Sylvia." I said as I higged her.

"No she isn't." A snarky voice said from behind me.

I looked over at who said it and saw It was the 3rd princess.

"No ... not her." Sylvia said.

"What did she do to you."

"Sol you must ru ..."

"ɘnim ƨi ɘʞɒnƨ ɘʜT :bnɒmmoɔ ɘlǫnA"

The princess said some spell in a language that I had never heard before but as she said it, Sylvia stopped. Her eyes became blank and her body became too relaxed. The princess gained an aura around her that made me fearful. Like she was the one person that could kill me.

"Come to me, my little snake." The princess said.

And Sylvia stated to move over to her. I tried to stop her. This must be what was making her unsafe.

"Sylvia, what are you doing?" I asked. "What did you do to her?!?!"

"Well, let's just say that she is not yours anymore, you weak, little demon. From that spell, I have no dought that you can now see me as a threat. Do you know why?"

I thought about it for a bit. hundreds of stories of demons came into my head from past lives and they all had one and only one oppressor.

"You are an Angle," I said.

"Close. I am a descendant of the first angles. In fact, my whole family is descendants. What, you didn't think that monsters were the only things that came out of the portals, did you?"

"Well, it doesn't matter. Give me back my Sylvia. She is the one person I love and will be by my side."

"Are you sure? How about we ask her." The princess said. "My little snake, do you want to go with this demon that you know as Sol?"

"No, Master. I want to stay with you."

And those words broke me.

The boxes in my head started falling. Memories of how this always happened came into my head. I had never been able to have a happy life. When I didn't, I was consumed by war and death and lust and all things evil/ When I tried to truly love, I always became broken.

All the times the person I loved most left me.

"Just kill me," I whispered.

"What was that?"

"Kill me."

Then she just grinned.

"And why would I do that?! It would be so much fun to have a pet demon at my command!!"

"I AM NOT A DEMON!!!" I yelled back.

As that happened, cracks appeared behind me. Not in the wall but in empty space. It looked like reality was breaking little by little. The royal family stumbled back.

"What do you mean you are not a demon? You are!! You have to be!!"

I just stopped talking. I took a step and the crack widened. Every step, it became bigger and bigger until I was at the base of the thrones. I looked up at them, my silver hair covering one eye with the other one had an ethereal flame dancing on it.

"There are many monsters in this world.

Monsters who do not show them selfs, and who cause trouble.

Monsters who abduct children.

Monsters who devour dreams,

Monsters who such blood.

and monsters who tell lies.

Lying monsters are such a nuisance.

They are more cunning than other monsters.

They pose as humans." I said.

I didn't know where these words were coming from but they sounded appropriate for what I was thinking and what was about to happen. The royalty was just standing there, stunned. The sky darkened and the crack grew bigger and bigger. Monstrous hands and feet were poking out and grabbing at the edges.

"Even though, they have no understanding of the human heart.

They eat, even though they've never experienced hunger,

The study, even though they have no interest in academics.

They seek friendship, even though they do not know life,

If I were to encounter such a monster, I would likely be eaten by it.

Because in truth,

I am that MONSTER!!"

And the crack broke.
