An Interrupted Match
The air was charged with excitement as Finn and Ember stared at each other across the table. They tensed their muscles, preparing for the upcoming arm wrestling match.
They nodded to each other, then put their elbows on the table and gripped each other's hands tightly. The crowd quieted down, watching closely for the battle about to begin.
As Ivy started counting down, they gripped each other tighter. Then, with a burst of strength, they pushed against one another as hard as they could. Veins popped in their forearms as they struggled against each other, neither willing to give an inch.
Their foreheads glistened with sweat as they gave it their all in the match. The table trembled under their intense efforts, and grunts and sounds of exertion filled the air.
Sometimes, it looked like Finn was winning, his muscles bulging as he pushed Ember's arm back. But then Ember, with a sudden surge, pushed back, matching Finn's strength every step of the way.
