Chapter 27 - Survivors' Movement

When the sun rose, Zach woke up uncomfortably. He looked around and saw himself drenching in sweat however, when he saw Jenny sleeping peacefully on his chest, a smile then appeared on his face. He then just caressed her hair but he would never thought for her to also wake up. 

What Jenny first did after waking up was feel uncomfortable as she felt her body too sticky but after seeing Zach looking at her, a sudden flash of memories then came to her mind and so her face immediately blushed and started heating from embarrassment. 

"You're so wild last night." Zach said with a smile before holding her cheeks. He remembered that after he said that he would take responsibility for what he did, Jenny was like a caged lioness that had broken free in the wild. She almost squeezed him dry last night if not for his high stats. 

"T-That. Hmph. It's not like you didn't ravage me like a beast last night. I just hope that you will keep what you said because if not, I will really kill you. Remember that." Jenny was flustered before she regained her composure and turned serious. She doesn't know how many times Zach has creampied her last night but what she certainly knows is that she would get pregnant with it unless he was impotent. 

"Don't worry I'm a man of my word. And now that we did it with such intention, I just want to make sure that you will really have it. So. Hehe." Zach said before he got up and pinned her down on the brand-new bed and positioned himself on top. 

"Y-You. It's already morning. The people outside must have already been awake and walking around." Jenny couldn't believe seeing how shameless Zach really was but somehow there's a trace of joy that could be found when she was saying that. She then just softly punched his chest before freezing after feeling something enter inside her again. 

"Don't worry as no one would be around walking in this area." Zach said, however, right after he said that, the door of the house suddenly opened and Anna was there again with her eyes filled with surprise and embarrassment before closing it back immediately. 

"I-I told you. L-Let's stop thi---aahh." Jenny was now completely embarrassed after being caught not just once by twice by her companion in the act. She was just about to scold Zach but stopped as a moan came out of her instead after Zach started fucking her pussy. 

For the following hour, Zach and Jenny were engaged in hot morning activities before finally getting out while acting normally as they greeted the survivors in the base. Zach started talking and inquiring about the situation while Jenny headed straight to Zach's house and told Vanessa that it was now time to start preparing for breakfast. 

After that, Zach and everyone had their first meal of the day before everyone started cleaning the area since they were many waste around like piles of stones, tree branches, and other stuff. At the same time, they also started moving the cars and even trees that were carried by current yesterday so they could start repairing since the ground was pretty much dry already 

Little did Zach know that due to the survivors who were carried by the current away from the base, his name and his base also started to scatter as they started meeting other survivors who had survived until now from which they shared their thoughts about where and what kind of place they have been. 

In a particular part of the city, a woman could be found following a group of families walking toward a particular location. Looking around, there were many cars around but mostly there were logs scattered everywhere which was weird as they all have a pointed edge.

"You say your name is Shiela right? It's really true that our place has been run by a young man called Zach together with her sister Zoey, her mother Vanessa, and I don't what his relationship to that woman named Hannah. We have separated due to the current but I'm pretty sure that our place wouldn't be destroyed." A man said which was none other than Edward the architect together with his family. 

If Zach and Zoey were here then they would immediately recognize the woman Edward was talking to since she was none other than their neighbor who had left them before, Shiela, however, somehow she looked like she was not herself seeing her eyes devoid of the will to live on. 

With that, Edward then just started walking back to the base together with Shiela. In fact, it was not only happening to him as almost all survivors that have lived in Zach's base all had other survivors joining them as they were all surprised upon hearing the stories of such an amazing place. 

Meanwhile, inside one of the houses in the base, Zach could be found together with Jenny sitting on the sofa while Vanessa, Zoey, and Hannah were looking at them curiously after seeing them together and that they had something they wanted to say. 

"Mom. Jenny and I were in a relationship, and I want to you know that." Zach directly said without any more confusing words as he did not feel any guilt and embarrassment to say such a thing. He then just looked at Jenny beside him who nervously held his hand while waiting for their reactions. 

"T-That amazing. I-I can't believe that the of you would end up together. Good. Good. Now that you said it, I haven't seen you last night, have the two of you already done it?" Vanessa was completely surprised but mostly happy upon thinking that Zach must have finally forgotten about Zoey and at the same time, Jenny really was a good woman even though the two have a huge age gap. 

"T-That. We did it last night." Zach was surprised by such a direct and bold question but he didn't hide anything seeing that not just her mother was curious but also Zoey and Hannah who were looking at him weirdly. 

"Good. Good. Good. You can go out of the house now and live together with Jenny. Just remember to take a break from time to time. Though I really want to raise my grandson or granddaughter now, you still have to do it moderately." Vanessa said with a smile before taking Jenny away from Zach as they headed somewhere in the house. 

"Fufu. I never thought Officer Jenny would now be able to escape your grasp. You really are a scumbag Zach. You now have three pussies for yourself. Does that make you happy?" Hannah said with a smile but also jealous thinking that there are three of them that would share Zach's love and care. 

"Zach. Does she know about us?" Zoey, on the other hand, was more concerned about another thing because, unlike Hannah who knew everything beforehand, she was completely surprised by his sudden confession. 

"Yes, she does." Zach answered before he looked at Jenny and his mother who were talking seriously. Thinking that they might take some time, he then just stood up and took Hannah and Zoey toward the warehouse and there they saw Adam and Eve guarding the building. 

Greeting the two huskies, Zach and the other two inside the warehouse, and not long after that a sudden voice then started echoing inside which was not known by the people. Despite it being 2 versus 1, the situation inside was completely one-sided as you could only hear two different moans which lasted for an hour.

Time quickly passed by and the base started bustling with noise again not only because everyone had finally turned back together with new other survivors but because the weather was too hot despite the world having turned dark as it was now 7 o'clock in the evening. 

Zach was completely surprised by the surging of survivors that had come to the base but he didn't stop them as he gathered everyone in one place after he and Jenny started to interview and hear their stories so they could see whether a person was good or bad. Zach wasn't good at that area so he was just there and left everything to Jenny.

Zach did such a thing since he wouldn't want a criminal of some sort to start living in the base. He would still give a drawing line to those who commit small crimes like stealing and beating but he would put them under surveillance. On the other hand, those who committed crimes like killing, rape, and other things also have an arrangement on the base. 

Meanwhile, never would Zach thought of seeing a familiar person after seeing Shiela among the survivors this time but he couldn't find himself to be happy after seeing her alone with her eyes completely different from the way it was before which he immediately thought that the baby she had must have died and it makes him feel bad and guilty upon not wanting to persuade her before to stay with them. 

Seeing her like that, Vanessa and Zoey immediately got her and brought her back inside their house and heard her sad story while Zach continued to look after the survivors as he was thinking that his father might be one of those since he felt like there were more or less 50 new survivors this time. 

One by one, the new survivors were interviewed and after their turn, they would immediately have something to eat. However, doing such a thing resulted in a commotion as they started to cut in line so they could eat food but after Zach took out a gun and pulled the trigger above, everyone immediately turned silent. 

"Everyone can have food after this. Just stay in line so we can do it in an organized manner. Don't try my patience as I would not hesitate to point this gun in front of you. Just so you know, I have already killed twelve people so far, I don't mind adding a little more." Zach coldly and seriously said. This is something that needs to be done to make these people shut their mouths and tell them that he is in charge of the place. 

After seeing and hearing Zach, everyone felt shivers on their spines not just the newcomers but also the older survivors who have lived in the base. They have completely forgotten that Zach was someone who killed eight trained policemen after living and used to see him smile and work with them together. 

With that, the base then suddenly turned quiet from which the newcomers stayed in line properly which made things faster as Anna and Carl also helped. It took an hour before everyone finally had their fill seeing them eating like their lives depended on it. 

Meanwhile, Zach, Jenny, Anna, and Carl were now having another meeting as they were looking at the list of new survivors this time around. The list did not just consist of their names, ages, and such but also their previous jobs and specialties however, there was also another sign next to their names and this was the topic they were talking to. 

"Zach. What do we do if they really were guilty of it?" Jenny asked while looking at Zach. Those signs that they have written were the people whom they felt had committed crimes. They really weren't sure about their judgment since they would only look if there was a noticeable change in their expression if they asked such a thing so it still needs another kind of verification. 

"Kill." Zach said with certainty seeing that among the newcomers this time. There are almost 17 people that Jenny, Anna, and Carl have given a sign. It was a huge number if you consider that there are just more or less 50 in this batch and what was more was the fact that they were all men and no family attached.

"I know what you're thinking but let me tell you this. If we let them go now, sooner or later they will be back and at that time, we don't know if they have come with good intentions. What if they grouped each other and chose to attack this place as they knew that we had supplies? Can you guarantee that everyone here will be safe? What If they can find weapons to arm themselves? Can you guarantee that no one will die? If you can't then it's better to end them now before they could bare their fangs later." Zach followed since it was also the same decision that he made back when he killed those four men. 

Hearing Zach's words, Jenny, Anna, and Carl were completely silent since what he said was right. This is no longer the world they knew before. As long as someone is desperate enough, one could even kill someone if it meant to survive. This is something that they only understood now which they then turned serious as they looked at Zach thinking that he really thinks differently. 

Following that, Zach then arranged those who were signed together so they could watch them properly. Giving them tents and other stuff, the base finally found their peace after everyone started sleeping aside from Zach, Jenny, Anna, Carl, and Max, who were holding guns as they guided a group of men far from the base.
