Chapter 23 - Firearm Training

Three days later, Zach was having a stroll not that far from them wanting to see if there were people around. In fact, he had become worried thinking about his father since it had been a long time already. Though he wanted to get back to the city, he knew that looking blindly in these kinds of weather would only lead to death.

Furthermore, Zach also was a little worried about sister Shiela who was separated from them before the second meteor shower happened. Though they weren't that close, they were still familiar with each other. He knew where they evacuated but they might probably left since the possibility of the place being safe was slim.

"Zach, where are you?" Suddenly, the radio he had sounded as Officer Jenny's voice came out.

Zach took them in his hand and looked at them for a while. Their way of communication has become convenient through the radio and so he has given almost everyone a duplicate so they could immediately disseminate information if there is something that needs their concern.

"I'm not that far. By the way, can you come with me and join me here? I have a favor to ask you." Zach replied before waiting for an answer.

"Okay. Don't move away and I'll find you." Officer Jenny answered through the radio.

Following that, Zach then put away his radio as he took out a bag from his inventory and immediately filled it with different guns and ammo. He then just also took out a grenade that he got from the police that he killed back then but he immediately put them back thinking that they were dangerous and at the same time, he still hasn't had a use for them.

Fifteen minutes later, Officer Jenny arrived while wearing a thick coat. She looked at Zach waiting for what kind of favor he wanted to ask but after seeing the bag with him, her eyes widened in surprise as a question immediately came to her mind.

"You see. I want to learn how to use these guns properly. Can you help me with that?" Zach asked. He knew how to use a handgun but the rest was something he still didn't touch since he didn't know about them so he wanted to ask for someone who was professional with it and that's one of the reasons why he wanted Officer Jenny to come back with him.

"J-Just whe-. I'll help you but in return, I would like to have one in possession." Officer Jenny was surprised but she still stopped herself from asking where they came from, so she asked for an exchange instead. As a police, she wasn't unfamiliar with guns however what she and the others had were only handguns and now seeing Zach have other guns makes her somehow excited.

Zach could see that Officer Jenny was happy seeing her having a faint smile on her face while looking at the guns with shining eyes. He then just opened the bag widely before looking at her with a smile.

"You can take your pick." Zach replied from which he saw Officer Jenny start looking at the guns before deciding to pick one. After that, the two moved away much farther than the base as it was now time to learn more about them.

On the road that was already buried below the snow, Zach was lying on the snow while holding a sniper rifle in his hands seeing him looking at the scope with great focus. On the other hand, Officer Jenny could be found beside him giving some simple instructions on how to handle the gun.

...Bang....

A loud gunshot echoed after Zach pulled the trigger as he targeted the tree far from their position and probably due to him using it for the first time, his mark was completely off but he wasn't that disappointed and was excited instead. He thought that the recoil would be something but seeing that it didn't even affect him much made him think that his body really had gotten stronger.

"It's good for your first time. Try again." Officer Jenny commented while holding binoculars in her hands as he looked at the tree in the distance. Truthfully speaking, she was not fond of using a sniper rifle not because she was bad at it but because it was just too heavy for her to handle, and seeing Zach didn't even budge made her think just how strong he was right now especially since she also knew the changes that were happening in her body.

Hearing Officer Jenny, Zach immediately took aim again as he put more focus this time. Several seconds later, he again pulled the trigger and this time it finally hit the tree however, it was still far from the target he wanted to hit but it was good progress and without waiting for another second, he again aimed.

Meanwhile, Officer Jenny was quite surprised to see Zach's progress which made her wonder if he really hadn't used them before as his progress really was astonishing, and in just another ten shots, she finally saw him hit his target and it made her blood boiling with excitement and competition.

"How was that, Officer Jenny?" Zach smiled while he asked as he felt like he already had the gist of how it works and he was sure that in just a little more practice, he might become very proficient with it thanks to his increasing stats.

"Hmp. Drop the Officer. You can just call me Jenny. And for your skill, that's what you call beginner's luck. Let's change the target and this time, I will let you see my skill." Jenny replied before she also lay down on the snow and took another sniper rifle with her.

Seeing Jenny, Zach just smiled before he looked at the scope on his gun wanting to find another target. Following that, the sound of their guns echoed throughout the snowy weather and they didn't even notice the passage of time as they were too absorbed in competing against each other.

Two hours later, Zach and Jenny were now on their way back to the base while laughing at each other as they talked about their competition a while back. Both have become much closer as they somehow share the same hobby especially Jenny who was still excited holding the gun that she picked.

"Jenny. About what I did to your police colleague back in the city. Do you really think what I did was wrong?" Zach suddenly turned serious and asked something. Though he didn't feel any guilt for what he did to the police and even the four people that he killed before, he, however, thought that he was becoming someone who was not him.

Jenny immediately became quiet as she stared at Zach before looking ahead. She suddenly felt like the memories she had before started coming to her, especially the memories she had while she was still working.

"We have been taught not to use violence unless it is necessary. If taking someone's life, even if they were criminals, was just easy then we should be called killers instead of being called the police. That's the reason why we always engage in talking and investigating first and then arresting. We won't necessarily take lives unless we are forced to." Jenny replied with a sigh.

"However, that was when the world wasn't still turned upside down. The world we are living in right now is where law and order have disappeared and killing a life now is as easy as killing an ant." Jenny said.

"I wouldn't blame you for doing what you did back then because If I were there, I'd probably do the same thing especially those lustful pieces of shit. In fact, I have been enduring the lustful eyes they gave me every day, I just didn't voice it out and complain knowing that we need manpower as many as possible but I never thought that it would be you to end them." Jenny followed while looking at Zach. It was only now did she had the time to talk about what she really felt which made her a little relieved after taking them out.

"Now that you said it. Before I killed them, I heard them talking about wanting to ravage your body if they got a hold of you. Well, you can't really blame them though as you were really smoking hot, Jenny." Zach replied with a smile and even had the guts to tease her a little as he started moving quickly seeing that they were already back.

"W-What?! Hey! Hey!" Jenny was flustered upon hearing Zach's last words but seeing him not stopping, she could only grit her teeth but there was a faint smile that could be seen on her face from which she sighed and then followed him inside the base.

Following that, the day turned dark after the night came, and everyone was already in their respective shelters after having dinner as they took cover from the cold outside and took a rest as they were also tired after working all day.

Meanwhile, Zach and his family could be found in the living room talking to each other seeing Vanessa, Zoey, and Hannah looking at Zach. They have been at it for a while now since it was something of great importance to discuss.

"Mom, I'll be leaving the base from to time tomorrow onwards wanting to create signs and symbols saying that this place is safe to attract more people to come." Zach said after he had thought about it.

"Is that really necessary, Zach?" Vanessa asked with a frown seeing that her son would be gone again as no one knew what danger lay outside. Though he understood his intention to help, she was not blind enough to see that he was putting himself in danger.

"Don't worry mom. I'll ask Officer Jenny to come with me." Zach answered but in fact, it was not the whole truth. Though what he said about saying to put signs is true, the whole point of this whole thing was to have ample time to practice his gun skills.

"Sigh. Okay." Vanessa could only sigh and even felt relieved thinking that he was not going alone this time. She then just talked about other things, especially the food supplies that they had and how to properly allocate and use them.

With that, Zach, Zoey, Hannah, and Vanessa engaged in a discussion about the current situation of the base this time, especially regarding the warehouse. Though they trust these people would not do anything funny, however, just to be sure, Zach decided to put Zoey and Hannah together with Adam and Eve to be on the lookout for the warehouse.

Following this, the group then started heading to their rooms as they wanted to take a rest for the night, however, one of the rooms inside was getting hot after Zach and Hannah started their night session.

"Z-Zach, will you now tell what was….aahh… the deal with…aahh…Officer Jenny? aahh..so…good." Hannah said as she moaned softly seeing her riding on top of Zach. As a woman, she was too sensitive to subtle changes, and she saw something was going on between the two so she couldn't help but get curious.

"Why do I feel that you're getting jealous? Huh?" Zach said softly before holding Hannah's ass and helping her move faster after feeling his semen start to rise from the intense pleasure that he was feeling.

Hannah bit her lips as she leaned on Zach after being fucked by his large cock nonstop. Not wanting to make too much noise thinking Vanessa might hear it, she then just held on to Zach's head before the two of them climaxed together.

Ten seconds later, both felt great satisfaction with what just transpired seeing them embracing each other on the bed with ragged breathing. They rested and remained silent as they savored the scent and trace of their love before a voice came out of Zach's radio gaining their attention.

"Zach, are you there?" It was Jenny's voice that came out.

Zach was surprised to get a call before he reached out to the radio however, before he could reply, he stopped midway as he saw Hannah smiling cheekily at him while stroking his still-hard cock. He then just smiled as he answered Jenny's call. With that, the two engaged in communicating with each other with Jenny didn't know that something was happening on the other side.
