OUTER AREA OF THE MISTY MOUNTAINS.

"Hmm… she passed out from the shock,"

Helena said, crouched beside Anna, as she poked Anna's cheeks with a twig. But, after getting no reaction from the unconscious Anna, she throws the twig away and stands.

"My liege, I found this on the remains of the boy."

Grace said as she walks towards Helena with a wooden object in hand. After getting close, Grace hands over the object to Helena.

"I see, so they were trainee knights. No wonder they were weak. But this has become troublesome."

Helena said. After recognizing the object. It was a wooden badge with the emblem of a wooden sword, which signifies that the holder wasn't fully a knight yet.

"My liege, would you like me to erase their trace?"

Grace asked as she placed her hand on her dagger, ready to kill Anna.

"No… if two trainee knights go missing here, it would attract the Royal knights' attention to the Misty Mountains. Which will become a headache."

Helena explained. While thinking of what to do with Anna.

"My liege, so what should we do with her?"

Grace asked.

"Hmm… What should we do indeed? In any case... Having already interfered, by killing the Drake kin. There is nothing else we can do."

Helena said. While staring at Anna.

Helena said to Grace.

Grace thought in her mind as she stared at her liege in admiration.

"Let's go."

Helena said to Grace.

"Yes, my liege."

Grace replied.

CENTER AREA OF THE MISTY MOUNTAINS.

IN FRONT OF THE MISTY PEAK MOUNTAIN.

*WHOOSH* *WHOOSH*

Helena and Grace arrived at 'Misty Peak'. The Misty Peak is the tallest mountain at the center of the Misty Mountains.

Normally it would take a normal person a full day and night to travel from the outer part of the Misty Mountains to the Misty Peak, but it took Helena and Grace less than ten minutes.

"Since Grace stopped here, it means we have gotten to the secret base. But, why can't I see anything secret base-sy? Or is it behind the swirling mist?"

Helena thought in her mind. While staring at the thick mist in front of her, that swirled around the misty peak.

"My liege, it seems it would take some time to find the base entrance, due to the mist."

Grace reported.

"No problem. Take your time. I also have something to check."

Helena said.

"I will be back swiftly, my liege."

Grace said as she turned around and ran into the mist.

*WHOOSH*

"Ok… now that I have some free time, let's recount my discovery."

Helena said as she sat on the ground in a meditation pose.

"The reason I decided to run from the palace to the Misty Mountains, instead of using a teleportation scroll, was to test my body's physical limitations, after further sealing my cultivation base.

Now with only the Peak level of the Master realm cultivation, I expected my strength to be comparable to a 5th-class Grandmaster knight, but to my surprise, my speed and strength surpassed that of a 5th-class Grandmaster knight, because of the werewolf's physically enhanced body.

With this added boost, it would be no problem fighting a 9th Class Grandmaster Knight… But I wonder what effect the werewolf physical boost has on others. Since Grace was just an ordinary Human before becoming a werewolf, I could not observe much of the werewolf effect on the Mana stages. But now that's about to change soon. Hehe."

Helena said in her mind with a smile on her face.

"The entrance has now been opened, my liege."

Helena is snapped out of her thoughts when Grace's voice interrupts. In response, she turns her gaze in the direction of Grace's voice. However, the mist swirling around the mountain made it impossible for her to see Grace.

After activating her werewolf sight, Helena could see through the mist. She glanced around and noticed a pair of glowing golden eyes. It was Grace, standing in the swirling mist, waving her hands.

"I see that Grace has gotten familiar with her werewolf powers."

Helena said in a proud tone, as she walks in the mist.

SOMEWHERE IN THE MIST.

"My liege, I have found the entrance. It is just in front of us."

Grace said. pointing at the entrance.

"…"

Helena turns her gaze to where Grace pointed, but all she could see were the mountain walls.

"So, where is the entrance?"

Helena asked while standing next to Grace.

"It's right in front…"

Grace replied as she walks right into the mountain.

*VROOM! *

"What!?..."

Helena said in a shocked tone. After watching Grace walk into a mountain. But she immediately calmed herself as she concentrates QI into her eyes and saw that the mountain had a door that is concealed by a magic formation, with the help of the mist.

[PFFT… HAHAHAHA]

Alpha laughed.

[What's funny?]

Helena asked curiously.

[YOU ARE?... YOU COULD NOT EVEN SEE THROUGH THIS SIMPLE MAGIC FORMATION.]

Alpha replied, mocking Helena.

[I could not see it because I sealed my cultivation. I can't use most of my powers.]

Helena said.

[STILL, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THROUGH THIS WEAK MAGIC FORMATION EASILY, WITH A VISION SKILL.]

Alpha explained.

[But how can I get skills when my useless system does not give any missions?]

Helena said in an annoyed tone.

Alpha clicks her tongue, after hearing Helena's words.

[IT'S NOT LIKE I DON'T WANT TO GIVE YOU A MISSION, BUT I CAN'T. FOR SOME REASON, THE SYSTEM WOULD ONLY LET YOU CHOOSE WHAT TYPE OF MISSION AND DIFFICULTY YOU WANT.]

Alpha said in an angry tone.

[Hmm… so what are you good for then?]

Helena said mocking Alpha.

After listening to Helena's mocking words, Alpha comes out of Helena's chest. And Punch Helena in the face.

[HUMPH… EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN CHOOSE THE MISSION, YOU STILL NEED ME TO APPROVE OF THE MISSION. NOW YOU WILL KNOW WHAT I AM GOOD FOR.]

Alpha said in an angry tone.

"Damn, I just shot myself in the foot."

Helena said in her mind.

"Emm… Alpha, you know I did not mean what I said earlier. I don't really think you are useless. In fact, you are the best system I have ever met."

Helena said, trying to warm up to Alpha.

Alpha said.
