Long ago.

The goblin villagers, caught between fear and loyalty, slowly began to kneel, their eyes still fixed on me, the unexpected wielder of potent magic.

It was an unstable moment, and the lingering flames from the Pyroblast illuminated their faces, revealing their inner turmoil.

My controlled goblin servant, still standing by my side, now issued a chilling command to the kneeling villagers, "Swear your loyalty to our master and reveal all your secrets, or face a fate even worse than Grizzlethorn."

"We swear our loyalty to our master and we confess our mistakes that we did wrong! " (Villagers)

The goblins, their willpower weakened by the chaotic events and my commanding presence, began to confess their sinister plans and secrets.

"We thought with your blood, we could awaken Lucifer, the devil. " (Vilagers)

They revealed the existence of the ancient entity they sought to awaken and the ritual they planned to perform using my blood.

Gobler, the one who had poisoned me, spoke of their nefarious schemes in a trembling voice. "We thought your blood would give us the power to awaken our ancient god. We did as we're told by our chief."

As the truth unfolded, it became evident that the goblins had been manipulated by their chieftain, Grizzlethorn, into believing that my blood was the key to their ascension. It was a revelation that further divided the goblin villagers.

I turned to my controlled goblin servant and commanded, "Instruct them to dismantle any remnants of the ritual."

The goblin did as told, and the villagers were told to get rid of what was left. They started taking apart the things set up for the dark ritual. The cavern, which used to feel very dark and mean, now hummed with not being sure and feeling nervous.

With things back in control, I focused on Gobler. He had played a big part in the plan, and it was clear he knew things that could help me find out the village's darkest secrets. I went up to him carefully.

"Gobler," I addressed him, "you will answer my questions truthfully. What is the true nature of the ancient entity you sought to awaken, and what are the secrets of this village that led to these sinister plans?

Gobler, once my doctor, now lowered his gaze, and his voice quivered as he began to reveal the haunting history of the goblin village. His words flowed like a confession, a heavy burden finally being unburdened.

"Long ago," Gobler started, "our village thrived under the rule of a wise and just chieftain. But then, a terrible curse befell us. It was a curse of eternal darkness, one that robbed us of our once-green lands and bountiful harvests. The sun never touched our home again, and despair settled like a shroud over our hearts."

His eyes held the weight of generations of suffering as he continued. "Our children grew up never seeing daylight, and the once-vibrant goblin village became a place of shadows and sorrow. As the years passed, hope dwindled, and desperation took root in our hearts."

Gobler's hands trembled, and he struggled to find the words to describe the torment his people endured. "Our food sources dwindled, and we were constantly haunted by shadowy creatures that seemed to revel in our misery. We lost our way, and darkness consumed us from within. Grizzlethorn, once a trusted leader, became convinced that only an ancient entity of great power could save us from this curse."

The eerie glow of the Pyroblast's lingering flames danced in Gobler's eyes, emphasizing the gravity of his tale. "Our chief, Grizzlethorn, found an old, forbidden tome that spoke of an entity said to have the power to lift curses. It described a ritual that required the blood of an outsider, and that's when they chose you."

As Gobler recounted the desperate measures his people had taken, a sense of collective tragedy enveloped the cavern. "We thought your blood held the key to our salvation. Grizzlethorn believed that sacrificing you would break the curse and bring back the sun. We were willing to do anything to escape our eternal torment."

The goblin's voice grew sombre as he revealed the lengths they had gone to in their desperation. "We started conducting dark experiments, trying to harness forbidden magic to awaken the ancient entity. It was the only hope we had left. We had no choice, or so we thought."

Gobler's shoulders slumped under the weight of guilt as he described the sacrifices made for a glimmer of hope. "In our desperation, we did things we now regret. We captured outsiders, hoping that their blood would work when yours didn't. It only led to more suffering and darkness."

As he finished his grim tale, Gobler's voice grew more subdued. "We thought we could bring salvation to our village, but instead, we were led down a path of darkness. I can only hope that our confession today can begin to make amends for the pain we've caused."

The villagers, who had been scared and uncertain, listened with sad hearts. The truth was out, and it was as sad as it was dark. The curse that had troubled the goblins for a long time had pushed them to do desperate things, like being controlled by their own despair.

I looked around the cavern, and the remains of the dark ritual were now scattered and destroyed. The situation wasn't fixed, but at least now we knew enough to face the curse and the darkness in the village. With Gobler admitting the truth, a bit of hope appeared in the shadows, and the goblins started to come together.

The journey to find the village's secrets and deal with the curse had taken a surprising turn. Now, I had a decision to make, one that would decide the future of this dark goblin village and my own path in this tricky realm.

As Gobler's revelation sank in, I took a deep breath and spoke to the goblin villagers in a commanding tone.

"Listen carefully," I began, "I understand the desperation that led you down this dark path. We have a chance to break this curse, but it requires a great effort. If you are willing to turn away from the darkness, to rebuild your village into a place of harmony, I will make you a promise. If you, as a community, agree to reproduce and raise a thousand children, I will use my powers to lift this curse and allow all of you to see the sun again."

The villagers looked at each other with unsure expressions, and it felt like the cavern was holding its breath. This proposal was both unnerving and full of hope, a chance to escape the sadness that had been with them for a long time.

The goblins showed different feelings on their faces: fear, hope, and not being sure. They had been ready to do drastic things to end the curse, but this request was something they hadn't expected.

One of the villagers, a middle-aged goblin with a wise look in his eyes, stepped forward and spoke, "Master, your offer brings hope to our hearts, but it is a great task you ask of us. We will need time to discuss among ourselves, to understand the weight of this decision."

I nodded, acknowledging the gravity of my request. "Take the time you need. I'll be waiting for your answer, but remember that the longer we wait, the darker the shadow becomes. We have a chance to heal this village, to break free from the curse."

I stepped back, letting the goblin villagers talk quietly among themselves. The cavern, once full of questions, now hummed with whispered talks. The goblins gathered, dealing with their feelings and the big choice in front of them.

As they thought it over, I couldn't help but wonder about their decision. Would they agree to my offer, or would the curse and their past actions be too much for them? The fate of the goblin village was uncertain, with the path ahead hidden in shadows and hope.
