“If only there had been a second chance! I will love you with all my heart!” Katherine closed the eyes of her one and only son with tears of blood in her eyes. Katherine, the second wife of the emperor Christian De Fasanovia, did everything to make sure that her son would be the emperor. So when her other concubines attacked the crown prince, she closed her eyes. Her only goal was to save her son and for that she wanted him to be emperor, the ultimate power and authority. On the day her husband died, she was more than happy, as the crown prince was already dead and now only her son was left! With the crown in her hands, she went to welcome the new power only to see him drinking poison by himself with a cold smile on his face. “If I get another chance, I never want you to be my mother!” He closed his eyes with hatred towards his cold and cruel mother only to open his eyes when he was 5 again. The rest of the knights dragged the mercenaries to the basement.
"I never knew that her majesty had such a strong aura." one of them muttered as he walked dazedly.
"Even his majesty was stunned. Where did we stand then?" another laughed, his eyes still filled with awe.
Chris could still hear them. His eyes could not look away from the woman he had thought was nothing but a burden.
The way she held her, held the power and commanded the knights flickered something deep down.
But it was already late. He had lost her.
"Lucy, come here." The boy looked reluctant. He stared at Chris with a frown before dragging him towards his father.
"What is it?" The voice was so cold that Chris frowned.
"What happened there? Why did you go pale when you heard the date?" there was no denying it. But he could not tell Chris that he had come from the future.
