"Did that mean that you have forgiven me?" The words came from the depth of her heart as she stared at the boy with misty eyes. 

Her hands that had been trembling held her dress tightly. She did not realize her hands were sweaty till then.

The boy could see the fear and anticipation on her face that he curved into a bright smile.

"Silly! Have you felt that I was angry with you?" he asked as he shook his head.

Luci let go of the breath he didn't know he was holding. Before his mother could sink the words and respond, he jumped from his seat.

Since they were sitting, it was easy for him to reach their neck. He placed his hand on the shoulder of his mother and the other on his brother and brought them closer.

"Aww, you know how much I love both of you! You are two pieces of my heart!" Kath raised a brow at the way her son was acting ruffian again but an unconscious smile crept on her lips.
