2 Being Sickly Is No Fun Even If You're The Prime Minister's Daughter...

When Bai Jingfei opened her eyes she found herself in a somewhat uncomfortable situation. Botbot was nowhere to be found and her time travel machine was gone.

She was lying in a rather tastefully decorated room, if tasteful meant ancient that is.

Nonetheless the room was filled with beautiful tapestry and expensive looking furniture and had a luxurious feel to it.

"Where the hell am I?" whispered Bai Jingfei.

The room was dimly lit and the only light came from some ornate candle holders and lamps.

It was exactly what Bai Jingfei was used to after living in a cave for a few years so she felt quite at home. Excluding the room being in an actual house, it was awfully like Bai Jingfei's own house. Or cave...

Extravagant.

Cave creature Bai Jingfei slowly pulled herself up from the bed and decided to investigate. She first found that the blanket covering her was silk. Not the best kind but still atrociously expensive to a normal person.

But Bai Jingfei was not a normal person.

As a spendthrift young lady Bai Jingfei knew the value of this sort of blanket lay in its antiquity and this one seemed new. Too new to be worth anything other than its materials.

Too bad the materials were nothing but pocket change to her. Or at least her in the past. She had no money at all right now.

She stared around the room until her eyes landed on a painting of a tiny yet beautiful lady.

A loli, if you were to be blunt.

"Ah, I've seen this somewhere… But where?" whispered Bai Jingfei trying to assess the value of the expensive looking oil painting.

Bai Jingfei yanked herself to her feet but ended up crashing to the floor.

"Damn why I am so weak right now" she cursed, mumbling under her breath.

Bai Jingfei planned to steal whatever was worth the most and sneak out. She was obviously in someone else's house. Her house was guarded by the uranium bombs that ironically messed up her plans, god only knows what this house had guarding it.

But as Murphy's law states, "whatever can go wrong, will go wrong".

She heard the shuffling sounds of hurried footsteps heading toward the room she was in. Bai Jingfei sucked in a breath preparing herself to fight anyone who entered.

Not that she'd be able to anyways. She could barely stand as it was.

An old man with a long white beard walked in followed by two maids, everyone dressed in ancient chinese robes. The old man was wrinkled with upturned eyes, and looked much like a chinese santa claus except for being thin and weak looking.

"Feifei you're awake!" exclaimed the man in a voice that sounded choked and close to tears.

Bai Jingfei had never seen this man in her life before. So when he reached out and covered her in a hug she didn't know what to do, especially since the man was trembling. She wasn't sure if he was crying or not too.

She was extremely weak against tears. An evil genius should try not to have any weaknesses but despite being both evil and a genius Bai Jingfei had many many weaknesses.

"Um… Do I know you?" she whispered, tilting her head towards the old man.

"Feifei…"

Just as Bai Jingfei had feared, the man broke down into tears.

Even as a demented beauty Bai Jingfei felt pity on him for some unknown reason. She gently removed his hands from around her.

"What's wrong sir?" she asked.

"Call the doctor." said the man firmly, pointing at a man standing near the ornate door wearing armor. Even a fool could tell he was a guard.

'Looks like I've gone to the past…' Thought Bai Jingfei, 'Too bad I slept through history class.'

Bai Jingfei hadn't bothered learning any history except whatever stock market related information she had. Unfortunately there were at least a few hundred years till the stock market came around, if this was Earth that is.

It could be an alternate universe for all she knew.

Soon yet another old man was ushered into the room. The doctor sat in front of Bai Jingfei's bed and gently pulled on her hand to take her pulse.

"Prime Minister Bai, the princess is extremely weak right now. Do not worry she will be alright, she just woke up from an unconscious state after all" said the doctor, his voice so respectful it was almost subservient.

'Prime minister huh, how luxurious!' thought Bai Jingfei.

Bai Jingfei snapped out of her daze.

"Princess? Who Princess" she said as she looked around cluelessly.

Prime minister Bai looked like he would faint and the doctor shook his head pitifully. He immediately turned to prime minister Bai and started blabbering.

"Prime Minister Bai, she has amnesia. The princess will be fine. She should recover her memories soon. There is no need to-"

Prime Minister Bai seemed frustrated enough without the doctor going crazy next to him. He looked towards a guard and nodded. The doctor was immediately escorted out of the room.

Or thrown out if you want to be exact about it.

"Feifei do you remember me?" whispered prime minister Bai, occupying the chair the doctor had been sitting on.

He looked at Bai Jingfei like a puppy who had been abandoned.

Unfortunately he was not nearly as cute as a puppy.

Well, even if he had been, Bai Jingfei didn't really have any particular fondness for cute small animals. The only thing allowed to be cute was her.

"No…" she said hesitantly.

Even if she didn't care about the old man too much she cared about her butt. The butt she would land on when she was thrown out.

"Feifei, it's me, your dad," said prime minister Bai pitifully.

'The Prime Minister's daughter? Score!' thought Feifei, 'What a nice body to occupy.'

"You've always been sickly but I never once thought you'd forget me" continued Prime Minister Bai, tears brimming in his eyes.

'The Prime Minister's, sickly, daughter? Oh no take me back!!!'
