Made A Mistake

"Aaahhhhh!" The small but loud shriek was enough for everyone to tremble at their places.

Lucy ran towards Renee and held her in her arms.

The girl was covered in cold sweat and her chest was heaving up and down as if she had run a marathon.

Her face looked pale and her eyes were still dazed as she held Lucy with her tiny hands.

"Oh princess, did you see a nightmare?"  she asked in a soothing voice as she tried to make her feel better when finally Renee let go of her.

She picked up the glass of water and passed it to Renee as she looked at her with worry.

"Are you alright? Shall I sing a lullaby for you?" asked Lucy as Renee finally stopped shivering.

The girl was shaking so much just a few minutes ago that Lucy was not sure of what to do.

"I am fine. I just had a bad dream." she shook her head as she looked out of the window.
