Giggling Like A Fool

"What if your name?" asked Alice as she held the hands of the boy and took him with her.

He looked so dazed that she was sure he was going to spend all day standing there if she did not help him.

She tilted her head to look at him when he did not reply. It was only then did she find him staring at everything as if he was looking at them for the first time.

His eyes were confused, dazed and amazed. When she let go of his hands, he touched the gem on the wall with trembling hands, more like he poked it and took his hands away with fear as if his touch would ruin the sparking piece of stone.

She had only seen these kinds of stones from afar when an expensive dress was sewn. He always wanted to touch it but was so scared.

He blinked when the gem continued to shine and with some courage, he touched it again, this time his fingers stayed there for a second before taking it back.
