Chose Her Above Him

"You are tired, you should take a rest." she said again when he did not react at all.

"I have a few files to work on. You should go and have some sleep. The kids should not stay awake late at night." he scolded her in an indulgent voice when she pursued her lips.

"But I have just woken up. I have slept all day!" she did not move from her place when he looked at her and then at the bed.

She had indeed slept a lot. If it would have been Evan, he would have already told her that she was a pig and a sloth!

"But your staff will already be asleep. Shall I call them?" he could not trust his staff since they were not able to take care of her before.

As if reading his thought full of worries, a bright smile formed on her lips, 

"I can accompany my father in his work." she did not take no for an answer as she held his hands and started dragging him out of the room.
