This is too much! Can't contain my feelings anymore! Gu Ruoyun is a great character! After all her miseries, she stayed resilient and determined even though almost everyone doesn't believe on her, she'll stay strong and stronger! Waaahhh! What a very good novel, just wish this would be adapted into a manhwa, so that my images of her would have taken form already! 😂
I like this story a lot. Before quidan "picked it up" and took forever to start translating it. Now on to the actual review. I recommend this book because the pace is really good. They don't drag out every little detail. When it needs to be detailed it is, and when it can advance it does. This truly is one of the best parts of the book. The author knows how to write well while keeping the story moving but the reader interested while having it not feel rushed. The charters are good. They have well developed personalities. Even the ones that are not shown a lot it is easy to see their personality. This is good because it is easy to keep track of people. The author does not involve many useless people in the book who play very little to no part. This is nice so there are not a ton of names that are hard to remember in a foreign language. It's relatively easy to keep track of everyone. The writing this goes back to the story advancement. The author does NOT repeat the same thing over and over. Like stating the same like to fill up the page, I appreciate this. The story so far (around chapter 300) is not redundant. Even if the "overall general" plot (which is the plot in most nolves) is, the MC is going to win and there are slight set backs but they are passed. The author writes it in a way where we do not get board. Each time is a bit different. Also the bad parts of the novels where the MC has to struggle against a bunch of bad things and the mood is depressing doesn't really happen in this novel. There is where it needs to be but it not everything. Overall the writer is really well balenced with good story and character development. Oh and the world background leaves many available opportunities for the writer to keep expanding. Which is nice because of the pace of the story we will get to see much of the world. Which works out with the authors pace. We will be able to see many parts where the MC does not stay too long in one part of the world and not enough in the another. As previously stated the best way to describe the author in my opinion is the author is well balanced. And I would recommend this read to anyone. Who is interested in this category. One last thing the MC is not overpoweredly broken, and not a cheat she is quite 'balanced' with where she is in the story. Basically it's a good read just read it. If it's not your cup of tea then oh well.
Hoping that when this novel is finally released, we'll start from where t'was dropped. I CANT WAIT HDHSZIFNGZSDHA FIRST PLACE!!! Leaving chocolate chip cookies ingredients here :p Ingredients 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar 3/4 cup sugar 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 (12-ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips, or chunks 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon fine salt
Same old trope as the rest. MC was betrayed and condemn, then had a rebirth and plot for revenge. OP MC and even ridiculous powerful worshipping ML following her around like a puppy to protect her. All the characters are one dimensional, they either hate the MC (all of their dialogues and complaints about MC are exactly the same, author couldn’t you be more original?) or they just like the MC and would do anything she asks for no rhyme or reason, even when MC were rude. Really terrible unimaginative characters and dialogues. ALL of the female antagonists are described as having fairy-like beauty that can stop the nation and everyone just can’t take their eyes off the girls. I’ve read up to chapter 431 and my mind is numb and I just can’t continue because everything are so cliched and repetitive.
Damn, reading this gave me eye cancer. Absolutely no character development. Everyone male or female hates or is jealous of mc. Absolutely no on has even a tiny ounce of character. The IQ of mc is below average and the rest of the world is borderline retarded. I mean how the fvck are they still alive with that attitude. If I can't sense her spirit energy then the first thing that will come to my mind is that something is wrong and I shouldn't take the risk instead of shouting you good-for -nothing bit*h how dare you blah blah blah. Don't they have a instinct for self preservation. Why does everyone behave like 9 y/o bratty kids. Why does the mc hide her cultivation when actively revealing it will make it so that no one would dare to provoke but guess what, she probably gets a boner when someone calls her good-for-nothing and then she proves them wrong. It is probably her fetish or something. Nothing to drive the story. I can't connect with the mc on a spiritual level. It is not my cup of tea. I occasionally read parts upto ch700 then just couldn't bear with it anymore. This novel is for prepubescent teens with 8th grade syndrome.
