We arrived at the Book Café and started chatting about all sorts of things for a few hours, she was an angel and I couldn't like her more.

Then I cast a sound spell around us and immediately her Spidey senses went off as I saw her tense up.

"There's more I want to talk to you about...." I spoke and she looked at me seriously because of my tone.

"What is it....I'm listening." She asked while looking I'm my eyes.

"I...I have more than one woman....I know I'm selfish but I still want you as well." I spoke and gently grabbed one of her hands.

Her eyes watered "So you're....you're cheating already..." She spoke then got up to walk away.

I swooped in behind her and snatched her up by wrapping my arms around her body.

I held her tightly and dragged us both back to the booth as she struggled to get away.

"Last night, I went over to do a group project and she slipped something in my drink..... But don't be mad at her, she did it because she's damaged and doesn't know how to express her love properly." I spoke and she huffed angrily.

"Do they know about me?" Gwen asked.

"Yes.... Black Widow actually came to scout you for the Avengers, I told her you'd not join without my permission." I told her and snuggled her in closer.

"Why can't I join without your permission?" She asked cutely.

"Because you're mine already, I'm not going to let you go" I spoke and kissed her cheek.

She struggled and pinned me to get out of my arms for a few minutes then eventually have up and slumped down.

"F...Fine.... I'll be your girlfriend..... But you better not leave me for anyone.... Or my dad will shove his boot up your ass." She spoke while burying her face in my chest.

After ten minutes an employee came by and spoke. "Please do that elsewhere, you're making the other customers uncomfortable." The pretty waitress spoke and Gwen looked around and saw dozens of people looking at us strangely.

"Very well, it's about time for us to close the tab anyways." I spoke and placed some bills on the table before walking out as Gwen buried her Red face into my side as we walked.

I opened the door of the car and she sat inside.

Arthur Lowered the window and asked.

"Where to Mr. Parker?"

"OSCORP, My girlfriend works there and I have an interview at well." I spoke and he boned before rolling the window up.

Gwen grabbed my arm and snuggled against it on the ride there as we talked about her job as an Senior intern for the company.

She worked under Curtis Conners and Talia her direct supervisor in cross species gene transplantations.

It was mostly trial and error but lately they been having more success with their efforts.

Soon enough we arrived in front of the huge OSCORP building and walked inside hand in hand.

Before long a tall strong middle aged man walked up and asked me aggressively. "What are you doing with her, Gwen does your father know about him?" 

"Uncle Arthur he is my boyfriend Letho, Letho this is Arthur Stacy, my Uncle and head of security for OSCORP." Gwen spoke in her sweet voice.

I stuck out my hand and shook his firmly. "Pleasure to meet you Mr. Stacy." I spoke while firmly shaking his hand.

Arthur tried to squeeze my hand but I didn't even flinch as I kept a small smile on my face.

He squeezed even harder but to no effect which brought a smile to his face.

"You're alright kid, just don't break her heart or I'll shove my boot up your ass." He spoke while patting my shoulder.

 "your boots will stay clean for the rest of your life then Mr. Stacy." I spoke and he began chuckling as he walked away.

We walked to the front desk and Gwen took me through the security and verification process before walking me to an elevator, she used her badge then took us to the 80th floor.

"I spoke with Talia and she said Doctor Conners will interview you directly." Gwen spoke and I nodded and kissed her cheek.

"Sounds good." I told her and we waited for the elevators to go all the way up.

Soon enough Gwen greeted the receptionist and I was told to wait in the lobby for the interview, I have Gwen a deep kiss goodbye and the secretary teased Gwen as she ran if with a red face.

I waited for ten minute until the secretary received a phone call and guided me to a corner office that overlooked central Park.

Behind a desk day Curt Conners, he was a fifty year old man that was missing his right arm.

I introduced myself and sat down "Mr. Parker, Ms. Stacy says that you are brilliant In everything you do, but I searched into your records and found only average performances in all your studies.....but Gwen is a genius and she wouldn't lie to me.....are you brilliant Mr. Parker?"

He asked with one raised eyebrow.

"I've found that a man must always keep cards up his sleeve, if I go around proclaiming to be a genius it would draw undue attention and expectations from people which I frankly do not are for....I've found being average brings the most happiness to ones life but I'd like to have a stable future and OSCORP might be that stable future or a stepping stone to it."

I spoke and he smiled with Madness 

"Hahaha I like the way you think!!! But my branch is focused on a certain specific branch of science....Cross species Gene Transplantation....tell me Mr Parker, how would you sequence a mixed genome in your experience?" He asked as he leaned in closer and stared in my eyes.

"Partition the multi organism gene components into sets by telomere length, Then Insert the collected data into the hg38-mm10 syntenic net....set aside approximately 12% of each genome into validation and test sets respectively doing this you will find that nucleotides have orthologous sequences and after that it is trial and error until you come up with the right combination....it's tedious, but it will work eventually." I spoke and he nodded while muttering unintelligible words.

"How.... Would you.... Find a more efficient method...." He spoke while looking directly in my eyes.

"Well, conditioning hundreds of thousands of genetic annotations is ludicrous. Instead, you can simplify both the human and animal genome into 64 or 128 principal components of the human variant scores matrix. Doing this properly will explain > 80% of the variances and amalgamation..... After that you can perform the Benjamini-Hochberg procedure to correct for multiple hypotheses within each GTEx tissue amalgam." I spoke and he smiled and jumped out of his chair.

He stuck out his left hand and I shook it. "Welcome to the team Mr. Parker!!! Talia will sort out your pay, You can take a lab coat over here, follow me to the laboratory...." He spoke and rushed out of the room like a bat out of hell

I followed The crazy Old Man to a lab room with four guards outside.

He touched his badge and guided me inside...I was greeted by some of the most advanced lab tech I had ever seen.

Immediately I spotted Gwen working alongside an old woman on a spectrometer as other interns worked on different things.

Dr. Conners called me over and we began analyzing genetic material and inserting the information onto one of the computers that used prediction software to help fill in the genetic code that couldn't be extracted.

Me and Dr. Conners had a great time as well moved from station to station with our samples and flew through everything.

We lost ourselves in the science of our all as I realized this old man wasn't that crazy after all ..... Eventual Gwen shook my arm and spoke cutely.

"It's time to go, it's already dark." She spoke and I checked my watch.

"Go Son, It was a pleasure working with such a talented young Man." Conners told me as he patted my shoulder.

"Ms. Stacy you found a keeper I think." He said and scurried off with a few samples 

Gwen and I walked out hand In hand as we chatted.

"He usually doesn't get along with anyone, he's too focused on his work....even I've only spoken to him a few times since I got here and so have the other interns." She spoke while looking at me with a smile.

"He's a bit eccentric but he's a genius...I guess we just clicked, I lost track of time with how much fun I was having to tell the truth." I spoke and kissed her head.

"So do you think you'll stay?" She asked expectantly.

"I think so, I definitely enjoy it here." I told her and soon we reached the car.

Arthur then drove us to an ice cream shop and then home.

When I dropped Gwen at home her father came out with his gun showing on his hip.

He stared me down a d spoke gruffly. "So you're the guy who thinks he's good enough for my daughter huh...." He stared me down.

"Dad Stop it..." Gwen spoke but he just made her go inside.

"I don't know if I'm good enough but I will always do my best Mr. Stacy." I told him as I looked into his eyes.

"You better because if you break her heart I'll take my boot and...." I interrupted him before he could finish.

"You'll shove it up my Ass?....your brother said the same thing Sir, you're in luck then because I don't plan on breaking her heart.... She's one in a billion..." I told him and he almost smiled.

He stared at me for a while then stuck out his hand which I firmly shook. "You can call me George from now on." He spoke.

"And you can call me Letho." I told him and he nodded before going inside.

Gwen came out for only a second to give me a kiss then ran inside.

I returned home at around 9pm and tipped the driver well before he drove away.

I entered and was immediately hugged tightly by Aunt May as her sweet scent filled my nose.

"Peter went to Ned's for the weekend to play some game." She spoke and immediately I picked her up over my shoulder as she screamed cutely.

I ran off towards the bedroom with her and tossed her on the bed before ripping her clothes off.
