5 VERY CONFUSED

Walking towards the door, Mia pulled her mom and they both exited the mansion, leaving the mother and daughter left behind in a daze.

Just as Mia and her mother reached the car, Mia was awakened by a loud, painful slap on her face. Mia was shocked, but her annoyed expression disappeared when she saw her mother's tear stained face.

Coming closer to her mom, Mia wiped away the tears coming out of her mom's eyes. She knew the pain her mom felt. The pain of losing a child was the worst pain a mother could ever feel.

"M-mom I'm sorry. I know you are furious, please don't cry. I can't bear to see you in pain."

"If you cared about me, you wouldn't have disappeared like that. You don't know what I have been through trying to find you and y-you… I don't even know what to say," Alice said in between sobs.

Before Mia could say a thing, she was interrupted by Mr Joe, "Mia I have news for you, your siblings have been taken to a new house and accommodation. My boss said I should let you know and take you to the place."

"Ok, thank you." Mia replied before turning to her Mom and saying, "Ma, I promise to explain everything to you, just please hold on a bit until we get home ok." saying that, Mia helped her mom into the car then she entered as well and Mr Joe drove off.

They finally arrived at the new house Eden had gotten for her mom and siblings. Mia got down from the car and helped her mom out.

Alice stared at the house in amazement. It was big and beautiful; even more luxurious than her former house, it was more like a mansion.

She couldn't help but think how her daughter could afford something like this, or was this one of her friend's houses.

Knowing the thoughts running in her mom's mind, Mia looked at her mom and took her into the house. The house was indeed beautiful. They were both welcomed by six maids and a man dressed in a butler's uniform.

They welcomed them both and Mia took her mom into the living room. It was beautiful, it was like they were in a castle. She had to say, but this was a house with good quality, it turns out her new husband knows how to make people feel comfortable and welcomed.

"What is going on here? Who owns this house, and why is everyone treating it like it's our house?" Alice asked her daughter.

Smiling Mia answered her mom's question, "Well mom, it's because this house is ours."

"What nonsense are you talking about now?" Alice questioned with a disbelieving tone.

"Mom, I'm not saying nonsense. It's true! Mom, I know you are a little confused…."

"A Little? I'm not just a little confused, I'm perplexed. My daughter has been missing for over four days and now she is back, and she is claiming that this beautiful house is ours. You are telling me that I'm a little confused." Alice scoffed.

Sighing, Mia said "Don't worry mom, I will explain everything. For now, please have a seat and have some water." Mia brought her mother towards the couch, and gave her a glass of water set for her on the table.

This was just the beginning of their new life and happiness.

Narrowing her eyes on her daughter Alice said, "Now explain!"

"Ma…. I know you are still confused and angry, but I'm sure when you find out the real reason I have been missing for the past four days you will....."

"Will understand what? What reason will you have to disappear, huh, tell me?" Furrowing her brows, Alice chided impatiently, cutting off her daughter's word.

Not knowing how to say it anymore, Mia cried out, "I was kidnapped mom. I. was. Kidnapped!"

Alice's face was smeared with shock at the revelation. She just couldn't believe what she just heard. "W-w-what are you talking about? K-k-kidnapped? How? When? Where i-i-i…?" she panicked, tears pooled at the corner of her eyes.

Here she was thinking that her daughter left her, only to find out that she was kidnapped and suffering on her own.

"How did it happen?" Alice asked in disbelief, her tears rolling down her cheeks. Just couldn't help herself, tears fell from her eyes, she couldn't believe what Mia just said,

"Well, I was going to my friend Lizzie for help, but then I was kidnapped by some men, and they brought me to a black market."

Hearing that, Alice froze. Her daughter to be sold at the black market? At the mere thought of that her body trembled. With a shaky voice, she asked, "T-then, how did you escape?"

"Ma, I didn't escape. I was bought!"

"What do you mean by…. you were bought?" Alice asked in utter shock.

"Well Ma, when it was time for me to be auctioned off, those disgusting men were calling prices like they were buying lollipops. I couldn't do anything, but stand still until....." Mia cried.

"Until what?" Alice questioned impatiently.

"Until I was bought by a person who does not want me to become his slave, but his wife and the mother of his child."

"Huh?!" Alice looked confused.

"Ma I was also as confused as you when he said it too, and the funniest part was that he bought me for 50,000,000," Mai explained.

"And Ma, he is no one other than Eden Parker," she added.

"E-Eden Parker, do you mean the Evil CEO, Eden Parker," Alice responded, stunned by the information reaching her ears.

"Yes ma."
