The Pain of One Sided Love

"𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 2020...!!" sounds dreadful right ? It was one of the worst year for majority of people but for Shanaya it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and memorable year of her life. She had just entered high school, which is the most crucial year of school life.

Online studies extended for quite a long period due to the pandemic...but as soon it was December the lockdown partially went off and the schools reopened.

It was Shanaya's first day as a high schooler. She sat with her bestie, Vedhyanshi.

What she noticed on the first day itself was that someone stared at her from very first lecture to the last lecture...at that time she was not even aware of his name. This continued for several days...earlier everything felt weird but then she was soo much addicted to his gaze.

She never realized how the hell could she fall for him.

Well because of that gaze she was damn sure that he was soo much into her .

She probably fell for a stranger...as they never talked ,exchanged names or spent time together...it was all in the eyes that reflected...eyes communicated better than words, no explanations needed just a pure relationship with no lies as it is not possible for eyes to lie .

IT WAS HIM WHO STARTED IT BUT THE ONE WHO FELL DEEPER WAS SHANAYA...

Everyday felt like a bliss . Everytime she turned around to look at the child answering the teacher's question, his eyes were perfectly hooked onto her.

All magic began with the first sight.

All her desires were limited only upto him. Every crazy gaze of her was limited only upto him .

ONLY UPTO HIM...

All her preparations were only for him. Her intoxication in love was only for him.

It was just a period of three months until when this game of eyes lasted. His name...she can hardly recall today. After high school they chose different streams and Shanaya changed into a dummy school...and were completely separated due to studies.

Never did a day came when Shanaya didn't think of him. Although his face...she didn't knew...how could she!? He always had a mask on.

There was no hope of reconciling, still a pain always ran through Shanaya's heart.

Time passed...Shanaya still thought of him but as for him he seemed to never care.

Shanaya agreed. That name was Divyanka, who became the mystery girl in Shanaya's life.

Shanaya was all broken after listening to all this as it was obviously not her .

Well the mystery girl still remains a mystery till date.

Ignoring Divyanka, Shanaya was quite happy as a silver lining striked in her life .

Shanaya pleaded Vedhyanshi to convey her feelings to that guy. After hesitating a lot Vedhyanshi agreed .

Vedhyanshi - "You know what!?"

HE -" What??"

Vedhyanshi -" Actually one of my friends used to like you.."

HE- "Who was it ??Is it someone from our class???????"

Vedhyanshi -" Guess!!"

HE-" No idea ! I never talked much to any of the girls from our class except you ..Btw who was it?"

Vedhyanshi -"Just someone !"

HE-" You ??"

Vedhyanshi -"Of course not .. leave it...topic ended!"

HE-" Well, Vedhyanshi , I've liked you for a long time . I spent my entire day looking at you.

Be my girlfriend!! Everyday I stare at the classroom's door ,waiting for you to enter.

Everyday when you are absent just feels like a waste.
