Arjun's Pov

I left the room in the morning to give her some space to get ready, but now I have left the room because I don't want to hurt her more.

I am waiting to get some alone time to spend with her from the morning, but now I don't want to face her.

I am that much furious at her. If I had been there one more minute, then I can't control my anger. How can she say that? It would have been hurt Patti so much.

I know Patti is also wrong on her side, but this is too much. This is not the right way to handle elders. I am disappointed in her.

I feel like she is doing all this to get rid of this relationship. I know, I have promised Dad that I will make her fall in love with me, but now I feel like I don't want this relationship to be forced on her.

I don't know, what is God planned for us. If divorce needs to be done in the future, then who I am to change that?

While I am thinking all this, I entered Patti's room. Patti is sitting in her recliner chair and reading the Bhagavad Gita( Hindu scripture that is part of the epic Mahabharata).

She is not looking dull. Maybe, she would have noticed my presence, that's why she is looking normal as she doesn't want me to feel bad.

"Patti," I called her.

She turned to my side and asked me to come inside.

I kneel down in front of her and said, "Sorry Patti. I am sorry on behalf of her,"

"I am also wrong from my side. Why are you getting angry on her alone?" She asked me.

" I know, Patti. You will be having a reason behind your behavior," I stated.

"Maybe, she too will be having a reason right," She uttered.

"Right, Patti. I can understand her love for her parents. Nevertheless, It is not the right way.

I don't understand one thing. Why are you doing this? Patti," I asked her.

"You yourself told me that I will be having my own reason right," She mocked me.

"Yeah, but..........." When I am thinking of the correct word to complete.

She cuts me off, " No buts and ifs. Go, you guys need to go temple,"

"Patti, Ok. I don't want to know anything. Please forgive her. Don't hate her, Patti," I requested her.

"I thought you are enraged at her than me," She smirked.

I smiled and said "I am, Patti. But anger is different from hate right,"

"I am very proud of you. I don't have any wrath or hate on her. As you said, I have my own purpose behind this. And you will come to know that when the right time comes," She told and kissed my forehead with a smile.

"You have to be like this always. And also being a girl itself is the toughest thing in this world. She needs to sacrifice, adjust everywhere. So, you need to understand her and you need to be empathetic towards her.

Am I clear? She is new here. You need to give whatever she wants," Patti advised me.

Yeah, Patti, I am going to give her a divorce. If that is what she wants....

Patti shook me and asked," What happened?"

I smiled sadly and said," Yes, Patti. I will give whatever she wants,"

"I and my granddaughter in law will be having so many things to talk, play, fight, etc.. So, don't interfere hereafter. Ok," She smiled at me.

"Ok, Patti." I too smiled at her and went out of her room.

When I came to the hall, everybody is already there except her and Dharani.

Then, she too came after two minutes and I ignored her. After that, we all went to the temple. Later, I went to my office from the temple for planning my startup.

Kamiya's Pov

"What do you want? Divorce right. For that only, you have kept the challenge with me right.

You don't have to do these things to get rid of this relationship. From now on, We will live like strangers under the same roof.

I will win or lose, you will get the divorce after six months. That is for sure," he left the room after closing the door with a thud sound.

My throat constricted and tears were beginning to blur my vision. The sincerity in his voice brought tears to my eyes.

The tears continued to flow and sobs wracked my body. I thought, I will get the grip of a situation, but this is too much for me to control.

His words ring in my ears continually. I lean against the wall and slide down, sitting with my back against the wall. I bring my knees to my chest and wrap my arms around them. The tears came without my warning.

No Kami, don't cry. You know this has to happen. This is all for good. Don't cry, You are a strong girl right.

All is well Kami. You can make everything right in the future. Ok, You have to be strong for yourself.

I wiped my tears and went to the washroom to clean my smudged kajal. You can do it kami, This is all for good. All is well.... All is well.

At the same time, I heard the knocking sound. I went out to check who is at the door.

Dharani is standing there. I asked her to come inside and also prepared my mind for the next shift of scolding.

" I heard everything which was happened before breakfast, I know this is all an act. I don't know about your cause behind all this and I won't ask. Don't worry, If you are going to this extent, then I can understand that there is the strongest motive behind this.

And also I know my brother and his anger issues. However, please don't lose hope in my brother," She told me.

Immediately I hugged her and mumbled, "Thank you so much,"

After our hug, "Ok. Ok. Kamiya, tears don't suit you. Go and wash under your eyes alone. Then, redo your kajal and come. Everybody is waiting in the hall,"

I smiled and did what she told me. After that, we went to the hall. Everybody is waiting there except Patti as she is not coming to the temple.

He is not even giving me a single glance, it hurts. This is all for good Kami, So I too ignored him as Swetha is watching me.

We all went to the temple and come back afternoon. Arjun friend's left from the temple straightly as he too went to his office from the temple.

Subsequently, we all had our lunch as Mom and Aththai prepared it before itself. I went to my room sorry our room as everybody is going to take a rest in their room.

When I was checking my phone, I got a call from Swetha. I attended the call and started to record the call.

" Hi," I said.

"Hi, Kamiya. The morning itself, I thought to speak with you. But I didn't get a correct time," She told.

" Oh, What is the matter?" I asked her as I want her to come to the point.

" Akhil told me to arrange our meeting today evening. As he wants to meet you in person," She informed.

"Oh, Can I take it as an order?" I sarcastically told her.

" Don't take it that way, Kamiya," She muttered.

"Anyway, I am too eagerly waiting for the meet. So, I am coming," I confirmed.

"Ok. I will ask permission from Ramya aunty. You just need to be ready at 5:00 pm. I will pick you up and meet him at a nearby cafe coffee day. Ok," She told.

I said, "Ok," and hung up the call.

Again, when I am checking my phone, I heard a calling bell sound. I went out and opened the main door. Karthick Anna is standing there.

" Come inside, Anna," I invited him.

"I missed my mobile here," He told me.

"Oh ok, take your mobile anna. Let me bring you something to drink," I told him and turned to go kitchen.

"No, Kamiya. Now only, I had my lunch. It's already full," He informed me.

"Oh Ok, let me bring you water at least Anna," I requested.

"Ok," He said and smiled.

I went and brought him water. I am thinking about how to tell him everything as Varsha said.

After he had his water. He gave me the glass and asked, " Can I ask you one thing?"

"Yes, Anna, "I replied.

"That day, you told me, especially you want to give this marriage a chance. But, nothing is happening here like that.

I understand, Patti is also wrong on her side. But... but, "He uttered.

"I know, Anna. I am also wrong on my side, "I said and smiled sadly.

This is the right time, Kami. Let it out.

" I need to tell you something important, Anna. Are you available now?" I asked him.

"Yes, Kamiya. Tell me," He replied.

"Come, Anna. Let's talk this in the backyard, I don't want anybody to eavesdrop on us," I stated.

When we reached the backyard, I checked the surroundings and started to tell him everything from the marriage till now except my love for Arjun.

"I can't..... I can't believe this," He gasped.

"I know, Anna. You can't trust me over your best friend, but I have a proof for everything," I told him.

I played the recording of that day and today's Swetha's call conversation. He looked dismayed at all this.

Tears stung his eyes when he thinks how his friend fooled them. But he controlled it.

"I can understand your feeling, Anna. But, this is the fact. We need to overcome it," I muttered.

"Ok, Kamiya. What we need to do now? First of all, We need to tell this to Arjun," He stated.

I interrupted him," No, Anna. We can't tell this to Arjun as we know his anger issues. We need to plan like them to make him accomplish his dream.

As I said, my friends are coming to help us. I will act like I will support them to know their plan and we need to destroy that plan.

Can you help me with this?" I asked him.

"Of course, we are going to make it," He smirked.

"Anna, Can you arrange the place for my friends to stay?" I asked.

"Sure, Sis (sister). I will arrange a rental house in my apartment," he informed.

" When I was telling you all this, you told me that Akhil is also staying in your apartment right," I uttered.

" Yeah, Sis. But this will be safe for them as I am always there to help them whenever it's needed," He stated.

"But Ishu......" He cuts me off by saying," I can understand. However, I will take care sis. Don't worry. Ok,"

"Ok, Anna," I said.

He went off after he shared his contact number and asked me to call him when I am meeting Akhil as he wants me safe.

AT THE EVENING

Kamiya's Pov

I got ready in simple pale color churidar and waited in my room.

She came at 5:00 pm to pick me. She asked permission from Aththai to go out with the fake reason that she wants to spend some time with me.

I called Karthick Anna and kept the phone in my purse as he instructed. Now he can able to hear everything, particularly my conversation with Akhil.

Later, we reached the cafe at 5:10 pm and started to wait for him.

At 5:15 pm, Akhil entered the cafe and waved at Swetha. He is 6'0' good-looking man, but not more than my Arjun.

Shut up, Kami. Concentrate.

"Hi Kamiya," He came and got seated next to Swetha who sat opposite to me.

"Hi," I told him.

"So, shall we start? Before that I want you to cut your call," He smirked.

That's all, Kami. You are done, there is nobody to help you here.
