27 Change in the Crowns

Grisa took a while to arrive since their group didn't have that much money to start with. Before they killed the Lizak, their finances weren't exactly very well off. She had to search a lot for the cheapest manuals possible, and they were still paid in silver. In a certain way, Tuly's group was betting a lot on Lian and the others.

Eventually, she arrived when it was already late at night, carrying only three different manuals. "Sorry, that's all I could find with the money we had. After buying these three, we're down to just five silver coins. If we just eat and sleep, it should be enough to last for a few weeks, though."

Tuly didn't mind it. "That's fine. So, which elements did you get?"

Grisa then put the manuals on the table, saying, "Wind, Water, and Poison."

"Poison?" Lian's group was surprised to hear that. "Can poison be considered an element?"

Tuly understood why they were puzzled. "Oh, you probably think that the only elements available are the basic ones like Wind, Water, Fire, and so on, right? Well, that's wrong. There are a lot of secondary elements, and they're actually pretty common. Take Poison, for example. Star Energy Warriors with Poison Affinity can transform their Star Energy into real poison. These poisons can pass through one's defense and cause quite the damage to your body if you don't eliminate them quickly. The worst part is that this kind of warrior usually keeps their affinity hidden while fighting with you. It's not like you can see Star Energy Poison attacks if they're smart, and you won't notice you're inside the range of their poison. It's truly annoying."

Grisa nodded in agreement. "Tuly is right. However, they also have a huge problem. If it's a similar level fight of Star Energy Warriors, the poison will usually take quite some time to take effect. If the enemy takes the initiative, the one who has Poison Affinity will find it very hard to resist for long. In the end, all affinities have their ups and downs."

Lian and Lugg couldn't help but look at Carol's crown, which was purple. They were having a hard time understanding what Elemental Affinity it was, but perhaps Carol had one of those secondary affinities.

Carol and Duran immediately came forward to take the manuals, just to be barred by Tuly. "It's already late, you know? Look at all of you. You're only awake because the excitement of everything that happened today is keeping your bodies active. The beds aren't exactly as impressive as the ones you told me back in your world. In fact, they're terrible. However, with me here, no one will dare to come inside, so go to sleep."

Lian agreed with Tuly. "He's right. I'm heading to bed. So, which room can we use? There are only three rooms in this residence of yours."

Tuly shrugged his shoulders in response. "We don't care about such things. Just select one bed, lie down, and sleep. Everyone will choose them randomly as well."

Suddenly, Tuly grabbed Grisa, who didn't quite mind it. "Oh? Well, someone seems like they're still full of energy."

"Hahaha!" Tuly nodded. "How about we have some fun today?"

Grisa nodded. "Sure, let's go."

Sure enough, Grisa and Tuly simply selected some random room and immediately jumped into each other's bodies. There were no doors or anything like that. Also, neither Grisa nor Tuly seemed to mind the fact that they could be seen having sex, let alone be seen naked.

Well, Lian and Duran were quite enjoying the show, though. "Is this what one calls live free porn?"

Duran nodded, replying, "If it's not, then the quality of this video is really good."

Carol's face went red as she immediately looked away after a moment. "Errr... I didn't know they were a couple... aren't they embarrassed that we can see everything?"

Hira shrugged their shoulders in response to that.

As for Jaruo and Kavit, they simply entered another room and decided to sleep. It was nothing out of the norm for them.

Hira then continued to explain to Carol, Lian, and Duran, "You better get used to it. Let alone here. Basically, everyone lives how they like as long as they have the strength to defend themselves. If you go out now and take a look around the city, there's be no lack of people who simply found someone they like in the streets and entered some corner to have sex. It's very normal."

"What if one of you doesn't want it?" Carol couldn't help but ask, still feeling extremely out of place.

Hira laughed in response. "Hahaha! Then you better be strong enough to refuse. Just so you know, it goes both ways. Lian finally looked away from Tuly and Grisa after that. "In the end, it's all about strength. We understand."

With that, Hira headed into another room while shouting at Tuly and Grisa. "Hey, keep it down, okay?! We need to sleep!"

"F- *Moan* F-Fine!" It was a wonder whether Grisa would follow her words or not.

Duran, Lian, and Carol then headed to one of the other two rooms. In the end, it would be quite hard to sleep in the same room as the two.

However, the next morning, Lian was awakened by Lugg's frantic call. -Lian, wake up quickly!-

Lian opened his eyes and immediately felt sore all over his body. Sure enough, he wasn't used to so much exercise in a single day. His body was now showing the effects of what had happened so far. 'What is it, Lugg? Couldn't you let me sleep a little more?'

Lian did that but didn't see anything wrong. 'What's the problem?'

-Idiot!- Lugg complained. -All three of them went back to their dormant states. They won't be able to talk anymore!-
