Sir what if we say you have to know his name to ask him to take his life?

Good idea cadet but they would just ask him for a favor then ask him for his name then repeat the process.

Sir what if he stops giving favors. We could prevent it from happening right from the beginning?

It's not that simple cadet if he doesn't give favors then he doesn't give promises making him obsolete. Come on cadets their will be a witch hunt for our author's head if we do not come up with a solid comeback?

Sir what if we make him immortal. It would solve the current problem and it can be re-used for future use if called for?

Hmmm Believe it or not cadet but immortal character are ten times harder to manage then the regular ones. Do you know how much plot armour's resources go into keep an immortal character alive. Like meteorites resistance why because an immortal main character decided to ride a meteorite and no matter what it our job to try and make it make sense.
