8 Chap 8 – The new Maid

Albert was afraid of being a burden on Amanda, so he asked for a new maid.

So, Amanda could go out with her friends.

Hyde has been chosen to be the new maid's tester. The new maid would help take care of Albert with Amanda.

All maids volunteered to take the test.

After all, they all liked Albert.

Albert always treated them kindly, unlike all his former bosses.

Albert was special to them.

But Amanda has been taking up all of Albert's time for years.

They knew that this was a chance to be close to Albert.

Hyder wrote all maid's names on an index card from a list given by Albert.

Among the names of the candidates, there was Elysia Elysor.

Elysia is a young woman with long, dark hair and blue eyes. She is wearing a white maid dress that reaches her knees. Her skin has an almost luminous quality to it.

She was 16, the same age as Albert and Amanda.

She was trying to be Albert's personal maid until she was overtaken by Amanda.

Elysia was a good worker but couldn't compete with Amanda because of her youth and lack of experience.

She trained with the hope of one day being able to serve Albert.

Until the day finally came.

Her dream came true.

Now she would get to work closely with Albert and fulfill her lifelong ambition.

Hyde began the speech, "To serve Albert-sama, one needs strength and intelligence." Hyde began the speech, "You need to be strong enough to protect him. You must also be able to think quickly and act wisely in every situation."

He paused for a moment to look at the candidates.

"Can any of you beat me in a fight?" Hyde asked.

A few people raised their hands.

Hyde nodded at them.

"Good!" He said, "I will show you what I mean."

And then he started fighting.

The others were not surprised. They could see how tough Hyde was.

Hyde was the strongest among all the servants.

However, no one expected what happened next.

Hyde fought with his left hand.

No one in the room thought about this possibility.

Yet Hyde proved his strength with only one arm.

The other servants were impressed, but none of them dared to take up arms.

There was no way they could match Hyde's strength.

As Hyde fought, he showed no mercy.

He did not hold back.

Everyone was shocked.

How could anyone defeat Hyde?

But Elysia was ready.

She knew that Hyde was stronger than her, but she also knew that she was faster and smarter than him.

And if it turned out that it wasn't possible to win, then she would try something else.

When Hyde was done showing off his strength, Elysia stepped forward.

She was going to fight Hyde using her brain.

She may not have been as fast or as strong as Hyde, but she had another advantage: she was younger than Hyde and still very agile.

She was confident that she could come out on top.

"Ready?" Hyde asked Elysia.

Elysia nodded.

"Begin!" Hyde said.

Elysia drew her sword and charged.

Hyde blocked the attack with his shield, deflecting it to the side.

Then Elysia used her agility and cut down Hyde's leg.

Hyde tried to dodge, but he couldn't move as fast as Elysia.

Elysia sliced into Hyde's arm, making deep cuts.

Hyde held his arm with his left hand while he parried Elysia's attacks with his shield.

At the same time, Elysia attacked again.

Hyde was forced to block again and again.

Elysia knew she had to hit Hyde's weak point, or he would stop her.

Finally, Elysia found the opening.

It was right beneath his ribs.

Hyde was too focused on blocking Elysia's attacks to notice the bleeding.

That gave Elysia the chance she needed.

She disarmed Hyde and then won the match.

Elysia was happy, finally, she would be one of Albert's personal servants
