"I will," Trinity responded. Confusion filled her eyes as Eve suddenly grabbed her arm, causing her to gasp in surprise.

"You shall not betray me," Eve declared with an intense gaze.

"I would never—what is that?" Trinity's eyes widened as she noticed a black knife materializing in Eve's hand. Before she could inquire further, Eve swiftly used the knife to make a small cut on Trinity's exposed arm. Then, Eve pricked her own finger and placed a drop of her blood onto Trinity's wound.
