Henrik arched an elegant eyebrow as Eve gracefully entered the laboratory with Maximilian in tow. A flicker of curiosity danced in his eyes as he observed their arrival.

"Has something occurred?" Henrik inquired, genuinely unaware of the situation unfolding before him.

Eve's gaze remained fixed on the grimoire in her hands as she responded. "The Earthquake."

He exchanged a meaningful glance with Maximilian, who only nodded in response. Understanding dawned on Henrik's face.

"Is there a problem?" Henrik pressed, his curiosity piqued by Eve's demeanor.

With a composed air, Eve finally looked up from the ancient tome, her gaze steady as she spoke. "A blood mamba bit Penelope."

Henrik's eyes widened in disbelief. "A blood mamba? But how...?"
