Eve gazed at the orb before her just as Lucius's words echoed in her ears like a persistent bell. She shut her eyes, her brows knitting together.

The Demon Emperor, huh?

Eve had never met the famous ruler of the Demon Empire.

In the Empire, there were a few Kingdoms and tribes led by Demon Kings and these Demon Kings worship the most powerful of them all- the demon Emperor.

Eve was indeed one of the humans who stood up against the Tyrant Emperor but why would he just target her?

But then again, there was a chance that Lucius was lying.

She should have sealed his mouth or severed his tongue. That would have been better. Then she wouldn't have to hear such words from him.

She sighed and considered Michaela inside the Array.

She wanted to speak with the woman, but it wasn't possible at the moment.
