Eve closed the book she had been reading, then shifted her gaze to the dress laid out before her. For the banquet, she would wear an all-black dress, while Max opted for a black suit.

Both of them were set to represent the Vampire Kingdom. The venue, nestled in the forest, was quite a distance away. To ease the journey, Eve and Max had already relocated to a house just outside the capital city the previous night.

"Madam, everything has been prepared," Trinity spoke. "Shall we start the preparation for tonight's banquet?"

Eve nodded and got up. The tiring preparation for the banquet began. Maximilian insisted on skipping the event, but Eve genuinely wanted to attend. Not for socializing, but to witness what would unfold tonight. For some reason, a part of her was looking forward on seeing Nyla and the Elves in the same place.

Would the Elves attack Nyla? Or... was it the other way around?
