Prince Caladon sighed as he stared at his sister, Princess Eirian, who wore an expression of anger on her face. She was sitting on the balcony, gazing at the beautiful lights that adorned the capital of the Lycan Empire at night.

"Must we go?" she asked.

"It is our duty," Prince Caladon replied.

"I do not want to see that filthy creature…" Princess Eirian said.

"You do not have to look at her," Prince Caladon reassured her. Why would a Princess harbor so much hatred for a halfling? The answer was simple.

In the past, Princess Eirian always thought she was the strongest Elf. She formed a contract with two elements at the age of seven, seen as a genius. By twelve, she was considered a high-ranking elementalist, and everyone expected her to be the next guardian of the tree.
