**Duke Lucius's Mansion**
"My Lord, here are the invitations that you missed," Lucius's butler handed him a bunch of letter invitations before he turned around and stood at the side of the room.
"Hmmm…" Lucius nodded. "Is there anything else?" he lifted his eyes and looked at the butler.
"Baron Thorn had been seeking an audience. We heard that the King approved of another Night Courtship. This time is for the Baron's son. Aside from that, the Baron seemed to have been showing some interest in the sister of the Prince's Human wife."
"He is showing interest in a human?" Lucius snorted.
"Yes."
"How foolish," Lucius said. "Is there anything else?"
"My Lord, the people that we sent to the Human Empire came back. It seems that the Human Emperor is making moves and is planning to invite everyone for a grand banquet."
Lucius immediately narrowed his eyes. "I understand. You may leave."
The Butler eyed him before he respectfully left.
