An enchanting smile appeared on his lips.

"Shall we go ahead and talk about history?" He asked before tucking a strand of her long blonde locks behind her ear.

"Who was the first vampire?" She asked without moving her eyes away from his.

"His name was Cillian."

Eve nodded. The first vampire was named Cillian, but no one had seen or heard from him over the years. The Book of Vampires said that his body started rotting because of how old he really was.

"And the first King of the Vampires?"

"Imperion. Asked me something hard."

"How old are you?" She smiled. She had been waiting for this very moment!

"Asking for someone's age is considered impolite, isn't it?" He was quick to retort.

"So, it was a question that you cannot answer despite reading the book seven hundred times," she didn't bother to conceal the sarcasm in her voice, hoping that it would prompt him to answer her question.
